Very happy with this! It was much easier to install than the previous 2nd Gen!

It worked for a little over a year then quit. The screen is pixilated and you can't program it.

Luckily we have a friend who knows about this and was able to help. I’ve noticed in month how much we have saved on our energy bill since we can control the temperature thru our phones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from an older model of Nest the installation was super easy. It helps to know what kind of heating/ cooling system you have. I’ve noticed when we change the temp the thermostat says it’s learning. So as time goes on it will learn your behavior. I enjoy the feature where it knows if you are home or not based on our phone locations. This allows us to not have to remind ourselves to turn it off when we are not home, very efficient. I love that it’s gold in shiny. It looks high tech and creates that “smart home” look.

I also appreciate the room sensor that helps regulate the temp. This model uses AI to analyze your temperature preferences and home/away routines to create a custom heating and cooling Smart Schedule that will help lower your utility bills. I can be at work and am able to change the settings. Saving money and a gorgeous product… what more can I ask for.

The installation was super easy and the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow and you don't even need a C cable! It's saving me so much money because it uses more energy when is cheaper and cleaner and it won't make my furnace kick in if the outside temperature is nice enough. The design is amazing and it looks so good and fancy. I love that I can do heat, cool or cool/heat and that it learns when I'm home or not to keep my house to my desired temperature. It also warms it or cools it before I get there so I will always be comfortable. It shows me the humidity, time and temperature outside too. I love the piece of mind it gives me knowing that if there is something wrong it will tell me, and in the app it shows me how long I have used the heater or AC. I can customize schedules and even use eco features and everything with my phone. I really love this thermostat and I don't have any single complaint about it so far.

The device itself was packaged so neat and was so presentable. After finally getting it installed I’m impressed. This is so beautiful and upscale looking. It works wonderfully. It is so easy to control once you get the hang of it.

Installation and set up was easy but it will have to relearn all your home and system routines or you can input it manually. Set up took about 20-30mins. It uses the google home app instead of the nest app, so that’s better than using multiple apps if you have more than one google device in your home. It works well and functions the way it should but I can definitely tell this is an upgrade from the rest. Controlling the temperature in the google home app works great for us and being able to see our energy consumption is great. Overall, this is one of the best temperatures control thermostats on the market right now and it just looks gorgeous.
