The AC5250PT Tower Air Purifier is perfect for allergy sufferers. The HEPA Pet Pure Filter captures 99.97% of allergens including pet dander, dust mites, and pollen. Q: As soon as I turned it on the light is red. I called the company and they said it means the unit is on. I have another one of their purifiers and the light is green. Video for this model has a green light on. Can anyone answer this for me?

  • A: The AC5250PT is designed with a red power light that will never flash or change color. It is designed differently than most of our models and the video, unfortunately, is showing the incorrect color.

Q: Does this product emit ozone? I’ve read that some UVC lamps can. Also what wavelength is the UVC? Can it cause skin and eye injuries? (Looking at the FDA site about UVC lights.$

  • A: The unit does not emit ozone. The wavelength on all of our UV-C bulbs is 254NM. The UV bulb is contained in the unit so there is no direct exposure to cause any form of irritation.

    Red light wont go off

    Once the filter is changed, the red light will not go off. I have two. Both have had the filter changed and the light has not gone off.

    IT REALLY WORKS

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 120 pound long hair GS. I refused to let our home smell like "dog". I have two of these cleaners running at all times. What this cleaner cleans from the air is remarkable. Two things I would recommend is the purchase the pet filter (if you have a pet) and I write the date on the side of the new filters so I can't easily know/see how long they've been used. When you open the machine to change the filter, you will be shocked! Next time I will take pictures to post but WOW!

    5in1 Pet Pure

    I bought the 5 in 1 pet pure over 2 yrs ago. I run the unit 24/7. It makes such a difference in overall dust from my woodstove and circulates the air very well in the finished lower level of my home. I have 3 others in each of the bedrooms. I no longer wake with itchy eyes. I vacuum filters a few times a year and get great extended life from them.

    Really like this Air Purifier.

    Really like this Air Purifier. Works fast and is so easy to move and operate. And I am glad about having the UV to protect and keep are the indoor air clean. I bought this Item because some friends had been using one and it had help them the a lot. Also I am so glad that it helps eliminate exhaust from traffic near my home.

    We love our GermGuardian! IT's wonderful peace of mind for the whole family. Our favorite feature is that it can run at several different speeds. Turn it all the way up at night for white noise and get great air quality at the same time! We love it!

    My first air purifier

    It was my first I owned. And I’ve one dog and one cat. I saw a huge difference after a week. Better breathing and dust and pet hair wasn’t over the hole apartment. I couldn’t get enough of it so I ordered a new one but a different model, but same company. I will order a new one next time when the company having sales.
