Fresh Step Multi-Cat Clumping Litter W/Febreze

nice view from my friend and his family and i are going out for dinner with a couple friends in a couple weeks

It stinks. I have one cat and it does not cover smells and I scoop twice daily. The scent is so low It wasn't like this before but lately the brand has lowered the nice smell added. What's going on. I'm going to change litters.

We have loved this litter for years and suddenly the formula has changed. It's darker, less fine, and smells awful. Where can we get the old formula?

I don't understand what's going on. Ive bought this litter since they started offering it, it seems. And other Fresh Step litter before THAT probably 15 yrs now. Lately I've noticed more odor and lots of dust. My poor cat seem to notice it to as she doesn't stay in her box long and doesn't bury her business.....Im scared because she's older now. I don't want her to get sick or for that matter ne either. I don't recommend this low tracking formula. Something changed and it's unbearable :(

I've been using Fresh Step Multi-Cat Formula for quite a few years, although recently the Low-Dust Formula is misleading. The dust problem is horrible, I'll certainly be evaluating other brands.

I’m from bogotá Colombia and I bought for so many years these litter. Lately the litter has been of a dark color. And the dust is terrible. Why Chance the formula? Can send other formula to Colombia? Because these litter is terrible. 😿

I formerly bought a great amount of this litter as I have four cats, but you recently changed the formula of this litter, and now it is terrible. It does not clump properly, so that little bits break off the clump. The clumps now stick to the bottom of the litterbox and also to the scoop. Therefore it is nearly impossible to clean the litterbox now, and as a result I have had to switch to another brand. It stinks more now too

Please tell me which one of your litters does not turn to dark gray cement because it’s really very poor quality. I’m trying to be nice but your website won’t allow profanity

Can’t find what this litter is made from. Read that the clay or silica can get into the lungs. If so this shouldn’t be on the shelves and should have warning label on their products. Not buying this anymore. Paper is more natural product that won’t get into your lungs possibly carcinogenic S

I was trying to find a good cat litter and was recommended this. I’ve had cats my entire life, and I also have a strong stomach when it comes down to terrible smells (things that cause most people to have a reaction I don’t react to). However, this cat litter has literally made me sick. After removing the lid I instantly started to have a reaction, but tried powering through it (mind over matter mentality) and couldn’t get more than two scoops in when I started coughing, getting light headed and couldn’t breathe. I took about a 10-15 minute break, grabbed two masks and a shirt, and was only able to get three-four more (small) scoops before I couldn’t do it anymore. At that point I just dumped the whole box. I just cleaned it two days ago, so it wasn’t super full either. I did that about an hour ago and am still feeling sick. I’ve never had a litter that affected me so negatively, and was so dusty and tracks so much around the house either. Please be careful using this litter.

I can’t stand the change you have made to this litter, it is so gross now. I was hoping that it was a packaging error because now it is just the same as one of the formulations I bought by mistake. But reading reviews, I guess this is the way it is now, so I will be changing brands.

I like the Fresh Step litters but the lightweight Extreme Febreeze now has the smell of dust throughout our home. The litter boxes are in my bedroom closet and the dust is in the air on the kitchen and front room

Well the litter is not good as the old formula was it leaves a mess and sticks to the litter box which we clean them twice a day, using the old formula almost 7 years we are very pleased with the results but with the new formula we are not happy with the results

Would have given it 5 stars but I don't know if you changed the product, this box has no sent in it and it is very fine and dark. my cat will not even go in it. Please tell me the contents were wrong, I've been using multi-cat extra strength for 17+ years.

The formula is different now , its more like the flakey and easily moistened Extreme type litter .

As soon as I dump the litter in the box, you can see a cloud of dust which lingers for quite some time. Everything in the room the litter box is in, as well as an adjoining room, is totally covered by the cat litter dust. I'm constantly dusting. I'm sure that breathing this in on a daily basis can't be good for either me or my cats! Please don't advertise that your litter is 99.9% dust free when it clearly is not!!

I'm very confused if I'm doing something wrong. I'm not sure how people could give this litter any good reviews it sticks to the bottom of the litter pan I have to use two hands to try to unstick not even hot water will clean my litter pan or the scooper. This is the worst litter I have ever used. A waste of money. I'm donating it to the shelter and I feel bad because I'm not even giving them a nice gift it stinks my cat stink and it does get all in -between their pores. I have to wet them down or wipe them down what a wet one to try to get some of the smell off of them, so I have no idea what they're talking about with this horrible, horrible cement litter.

I've tried other brands, i always come back to fresh step.But the last box i bought..seems like someone forgot to put in the clumping agent. The wet clumps go right through the sifter.

Bought two 25# boxes for first time (and last) Stated 99.9% dust free. No. It is not. Maybe if it's raining out it is. A plume of dust comes up no matter how slow I try to remove. My eyes burn for hours later. What a waste.
