Do not buy this without bleaching first
I pre lighted my hair using a 30 volume developer that way the dye would make my hair color look as advertised, however the dye did not change my hair AT ALL, thankfully is was not damaging to my hair, if you would want to see really good results you have to bleach your hair before using this product

When the hair has been pre-lightened to a very pale state, it can sometimes become quite porous, which may cause the color pigments to wash out too quickly or not "anchor" correctly. For the most vibrant and lasting results on pre-lightened hair, we recommend ensuring the hair is thoroughly saturated and allowing the color to process for the full recommended time to help those rich tones lock in. Disappointed and Dry
I used the violet purple box, and got red hair lol. I have natural, straight, medium dark brown hair. According to the box, with my shade, it shouldve been some shade of deepness with purple shone through. All I have is a glorified red-brown. Also my hair is extremely dry and way more damaged after this box compared to any other box brand I have used before. None have made my hair so damaged as this one. I actually have never experienced issues with dry hair after a box dye, and I've been using them for years, waiting minimum 1 year between uses. I would not recommend the brand nor the shade violet/purple.

I don’t like leaving a one star review but I was expecting this to color my hair any shade of purple but the product literally washed out of my hair. I did every step exactly as it told me to and my hair did not dye at all. I am extremely disappointed and I just wasted 2 hours of my life for my hair to look the exact same.
