CURLSMITH Invincible Volume Mousse - Ulta Beauty

Easy to apply on really wet hair, melts into my hair gives gives it volume, shine, and definition that lasts me 2-3 days. Overall a great product!

It is very sticky and leaves residue on the scalp. Leaves the hair extra crunchy

If I could give NO stars I would. This is the worst, product I ever used. The texture felt weird, as it came out of the can. Light & fluffy, but don't let that fool you. . . As I diffused my hair it felt horrible sticky, as if I couldn't get my fingers through it. It gives volume alright, but felt like a rats next.

I love the volume and the ability this gives me to shape my hair, but it feels like glue and leaves a sticky glue-y crunchy residue that I've never encountered with any curly mousse and it can't be softened with oil. It even leaves a glue-y mess on the dispenser. I've tried several times because I love the volume but it matts my curls, which normally don't tangle, and I can't wait to wash it off.

My hair is classic 3A with some 3B underneath, low density at the crown, higher density at the nape of my neck, medium texture (not soft, not rough). This mousse is exactly what it claims to be - volumizing, and with plenty of hold. I've been using it under either the flexi jelly or style fixer gel (either works great), on top of a leave-in or curl cream. It doesn't work as well on top of gel. (Feels too tacky). It is definitely heavier than any other mousse or gel mousse I've tried, which is why I think it works for me. (And maybe doesn't work for some of the reviewers with wavy hair?) If you're expecting a super watery, lightweight foam (i.e. the Rizos curl mousse), then look elsewhere. But if you have truly CURLY hair and want serious volume and good hold, this is the product for you!

I apply a very small amount of product into very wet hair and diffuse, my curls stay in for two to three days. Soft, not frizzy, not crunchy. I think there is a lot of misuse of this product and hence the reviews. Personally this is the best mousse I've used on my wavy hair. It's definitely a thick-moisture rich product and needs used accordingly.

This stuff feels like glue in my hair. So expensive and so bad

I'm absolutely disappointed in this product I love the air dry leave in conditioner so i expexted to have high hopes for this product but oh my gosh your hair would feel sticky like glue and very stiff its horrible i hate it 0/10

Terrible product. Described as a mousse but more like a VERY sticky foam gel. Awful product, will be returning. You cannot comb your hair ince it's in and dries crunchy.

I really wanted to love this product! It does exactly as it says and gives your hair awesome volume. Unfortunately, it never fully dries and leaves your hair sticky. I will continue to use it sparingly on super dry spots, but sadly, I will not purchase again.

This is not for me, made me feel like I had dipped my head in a bucket of glue! Gave it another go against my better judgment but even using a lot less didnt really improve it

I had biught this profict hoping that it would be like the gel foam, but i was wrong. It's very sticky, and doesn't have the same hold. And worst, you cannot add a little water and restyle after day 1 - big let down.

Some Curlsmith products work for me, but this was a total fail. Even using sparingly it feels like glue in my hair. I have used it 3 times and felt the need to shampoo again immediately afterwards. I seldom return products because it seems so wasteful but may return this.
