A: Why should the 'refurbished item' be NOTABLY DIFFERENT than the same item as NEW? What does REFURBISHED ACTUALLY MEAN??

Excellent coffee flavor with Cuisinart.
We like the cone filter type. We believe the coffee brews better. I did not like receiving a white unit when the photo is only black.

Great machine, great price!
Great large coffee marker that has all the bells and whistles you expect and is a “pour over” type water system that comes from the top inside the lid. All in all I was not hesitant to order a more expensive discounted “refurbished” coffee maker from Target because the return policy is so good at Target. I have had the machine for 2 weeks now and it works great! Hot coffee when I wake up and easy to program and came with paper filters to get you started if you don’t already have any. This machine is normally well over 100 dollars.
