Happy wife
My husband and I purchased a new coffeemaker to replace our previous coffeemaker. We upgraded from a 10 cup model to the 12 cup option. We love it, works well and we both get to enjoy 2 large cups of coffee on the weekends!

Improved model
The coffee maker was an update of our 20 year old model. Very pleased with the appearance and function and am very pleased that you changed the design of the carafe lid - it is much easier to get on straight.

good brewing machine with design challenges
Thus far, one month in we are very pleased with the quality of The brewed coffee. The machine functions and programs as expected. Putting water into the pot is a challenge and the pot itself doesn't serve as a good pitcher in which to add that water due to its size and the tight space available in which to pour the water. This is a design flaw which could be solved with a removable water tank.

Junk
Worst coffee maker ever made. I have had more issues than I care to list. Most recent is an X in the bottom right of the control panel that there isn't any information about that I can find. The cord is too short. The hot plate wastes electricity rather than having good carafe. The carafe won't pour without dribbling and wasting coffee. The water level indicator is in a bad location as it cannot be seen from the front. Filling the water tank presents a challenge with conflict between the carafe and the lid. It is supposedly a 12 cup carafe but is barely a 10 cup coffee maker. No surprise that it was discontinued after I wasted my time, effort, and money to unfortunately own one of these horrible pieces of junk. One star is to good for it.

Thank you so much for your comments and we're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the unit! The "X" at the bottom of this unit signifies that you have the tone turned off, so the unit will not beep when it's finished brewing. If you'd like to change this setting you can simply hit the TONE button the face of the coffee maker. Also, this unit doesn't have a heating plate, but instead allows the thermal carafe to keep the coffee hot for between 3-4 hours. Doesn't last
Worked well while it lasted. Unfortunately, it only lasted18 months before the buttons stopped working. And, while within warranty and able to get replacement, our color (white) is not available. Disappointing when you are trying to match kitchen appliances. Looking to see if white will become available by factory...

Thermos coffeemaker
There are a lot of things I like about this coffeemaker, there are two things I don't like: the coffee doesn't stay very warm after shut off, because it is a thermos I thought would be different even filling it with very hot water before I brewed it, and there isn't a regular or bold button.

Great Coffee Maker
This is the 4th time I've bought this. Had the first one for years until it finally stopped working well. Then the 2nd one, which also started failing after many years. The 3rd was for our winter home. With the 4th, the coffee is much hotter than the prior ones. The biggest plus is the fact that there is no carafe that needs to be cleaned--coffee goes straight into the cup/mug. It's the only product I've found that works like this. Clean it when the "clean"light comes on, using Bar Keepers Friend coffee maker cleaner.

Cuisinart Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker
Purchased a new Cuisinart Thermal Carafe to replace the exact same model that was 11 years old and still works well. We are keeping the old coffee maker for a spare or to use for occasions when we need to brew more than 12 cups of coffee. These coffee makers just work well with no surprises. Coffee stays hot for 4-5 hours without a warming surface that non-thermal carafe coffee makers use that overcook the coffee.

Thermal Coffee Maker
This new 12 cup thermal coffee maker replaced an identical model that lasted over 15 years!! This new one is performing just as well as the one it replaced and I would not hesitate to tell anyone that should you need a new coffee maker buy a Cuisinart!!

Perfect for our busy family
Excellent coffee maker! Highly recommend. We use the scheduled timer so our coffee is ready to go first thing in the morning and no waiting. When we get a second cup it is still warm and fresh.

Try another
This coffee pot looks pretty with its stainless carafe, but the cup measurement doesn't pan out. If i make 4 cups, I get 1.5 . I need to figure out how much coffee is needed because so far I use 1 scoop (provided) per cup and it's way too strong because it actually makes fewer cups than I measure the water for.

Quick and Efficient but missing some small feature
Makes a quick pot of coffee and keeps it warm. It does have a tendency to overflow grounds into your coffee if you make the full 12 cups. There should be special filters for this pot but it doesn't have any -- standard filters aren't big enough to hold enough the grounds.

Good unit
Needed to replace our old coffee maker and this one had good ratings. The metal carafe keeps the coffee warm/hot for hours. Makes a big difference in how we use it. One drawback seems to be that even on the "Bold" setting, the coffee is not as strong as hoped.
