This play mat is large and heavy duty/thick. You can use either side. It is more for inside use because it's white on one side. It has a slight cushion to it and lays flat every time it's used.

Its plush so can be used on wood flooring with enough cushion, large enough for rolling children to have enough space. Love the design and honestly you could use both sides. Worth every cent, I will be adding be crane baby play mats as a regular purchase for gift giving. What a beautiful product

The farm pattern is adorable and the plaid pattern on the opposite side is so nice. My son loves it. He kept returning to it to sit and play. I would include more picture but it is in the wash due to a peanuts butter sandwich incident. I would definitely recommend this for nursery devote or as a tummy time/ play mat.

It’s very eye appealing because it has gender neutral colors and sea animals designs. It went very nicely with the color scheme of my home. I really liked how cushioned it is, it makes me feel better about putting my baby on it. With other play mats I would normally use a blanket under them so they could be more cushioned and comfortable for my baby so I was definitely a big fan of this one. The fabric was nice and soft and not scratchy at all but some of the stitching, like the one from the whale, did feel a bit scratchy, nothing too worrisome. Some of the sea animals have interactive parts like the whale’s fin or star that comes out from under a seashell or the mirror behind a flap. I do however wish there was more things that my baby could interact with but I still thinks it comes with a good amount for my baby to get distracted with during tummy time. Overall I would recommend it.

Really love the size and feel of this mat. The size is great for taking your play mat on the go when traveling with little babies. The sea life design is sooooo super cute!! The mat itself is lightweight while still maintaining a luxury feel. The babies love this one.

My son is 5 months old and loves exploring the different textures and hidden toys. I haven’t washed it yet but you can tell it is high quality and will likely hold up for many months to come.
