When going out as a family with a 4 month old and 2.5 year old you never know what adventures you have in store. Sometimes your toddler wants freedom to walk and run around other times she wants to sit in her special seat at the front of the stroller. This sibling seat made it easy to have both with us at the same time and still have room to access the basket underneath. The different configurations that it provides being able to sit and watch the world or take a nap facing us made the biggest difference compared to others. Having that flexibility to be able to use the seats in basically any configurations made this a dream for us. Being able to use the adjustable leg rest for the toddler to allow her to stretch out for nap time and being able to recline it all the back and not have to adjust the other seat was perfect. The best part was the height adjustable canopy that allowed us to tailor the seat to our toddler or our baby. The part of the stroller I was unsure about was the harness this was my first time with a quick click harness and I was shocked how quick I got the hang of it and the peace of mind it gave me knowing the toddler couldn't disengage it. The harness even had reflective material in it that made walking at night feel safer. All in all this stroller was amazing and having 2 children in the stroller was super easy to still maneuver around with both seats in use. The adjustable handles made it even easier. I think our favorite part of the seat was how easy it is to detach it you just simply press in on each side you don't have to try to grab both buttons at the same time and hope your pressing down enough for it to detach it was very simple 1 button press on each side.

When looking for a versatile addition to the Bugaboo Kangaroo, this seat was a perfect add-on! I received this product through Stellar product testing panel and honestly have loved this seat for my toddler as well as for my infants. I love the maneuverability, the seat being able to be forward or rear facing as well as reclined- which is perfect for little ones napping on the go and during outings! The sun canopy is incredible, with the feature of unzipping and extending the canopy further it makes those sunny days at the park a breeze because it gives baby extra coverage when you need it and can easily be zipped back up for when you don't. I love that this seat held both my 3 year old, as well as my two month old with no problems, and easy adjustability with not only the canopy but also the straps, plus a 5 point harness which is a huge win in my book! I also found the sway bar perfect for having to get baby in and out of the stroller without having to worry about holding or removing any additional pieces because it simply swings away still attached to the seat. The footrest was adjustable as well making it super easy to angle the seat however I needed it to be to give us more space when multiple seats were in use, and make it more comfy for my kiddos when switching between toddler and babies. The recline lever made it super simple to lay baby back for longer strolls and I found that my little ones loved this seat with it being comfy enough for everything from zoo trips to playground afternoons without any complaints. The seat is easy to place on the frame with all the parts included for adding it to the stroller, and setup was a breeze. The fabric of the canopy is high quality and durable and the seat itself was very durable not feeling cheap or flimsy at all. Overall I highly recommend this to any parent looking for a versatile quality addition to their bugaboo Kangaroo.

The Bugaboo Kangaroo Sibling Seat is just as comfortable, roomy, and luxurious as the main seat. We utilized the sibling seat for my 2.5 year old toddler who is 37.5 inches tall while strolling around the neighborhood. The sibling seat is a tad bit smaller than the main seat but still roomy enough that my toddler was quite comfortable. Some of my favorite aspects of the seat include: Quality – It’s clear that Bugaboo does not hold back on quality when creating these seats. The fabric was well made and beyond comfortable for my child to relax in. Perfect for growing families – this seat makes strolling in the Bugaboo Kangaroo with two kids a breeze. It can be utilized in multiple different configurations and includes a large sun canopy that is height adjustable which makes it ideal for taller kids. Safety is top of mind – the seat includes an easy click harness and reflective stitching which made me feel more seen and safe on our evening walks. I love that Bugaboo thought to include this feature! As with any product there is always something that can be improved upon. For this product, my main qualm is that the sibling seat must be in the lower slot of the stroller. Ultimately this wouldn’t impact my review but for those with bigger toddlers, it may pose a problem as the weight limit of the sibling seat is 40 compared to 50 of the main seat and when you need the upper position for the bassinet or car seat then it could pose a bit of a problem. Overall, I have absolutely loved having the sibling seat for my Bugaboo Kangaroo and would like to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller accessory. The Bugaboo Kangaroo Sibling Seat has been perfect for our family while strolling with my two boys (4 months and 2.5 years). Using the stroller with both seats has been a really smooth experience. After trying other tandem strollers I thought it might be heavy or harder to push when adding the sibling seat, but it’s actually very easy to maneuver - even with two kids onboard. The stroller still feels well-balanced, and I can comfortably steer it without feeling like I’m fighting the weight. Even uphill it does not feel overly heavy! I’ve also really liked how adjustable the sibling seat is. The seat recline feature has been very helpful for keeping my 4 month old comfortable when he is napping. Being able to switch between parent-facing and world-facing positions is another great feature, depending on my baby’s mood and what we’re doing that day. The height-adjustable sun canopy is another thoughtful detail. We live in the south so having adequate sun coverage is vital. It provides great coverage and has been helpful for keeping both kids shaded and comfortable during walks, especially on sunnier days. The quick-click harness is very easy to use and makes getting my child in and out of the seat quick and simple. The reflective stitching is a nice added touch and gives a little extra peace of mind when we take our post-dinner walks as the sun is setting and the light is lower. My only complaint is that because of the size of the sibling seat I need to put my toddler in the seat closer to me and my 4 month old on the bottom. I don’t have a huge issue with this, but I could see this being an issue for some. Overall, the sibling seat has made transitioning to a double stroller seamless for our family. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and keeps both kids happy on our outings. I would definitely recommend it for families with two young children.

I had the chance to try the Bugaboo Kangaroo sibling seat, and I think it’s a great concept with some thoughtful features, though there are definitely a few limitations worth noting depending on your family’s needs. First, I do think the seat itself looks comfortable, and I like that it comes with a bumper bar, which is always a nice addition. The overall quality feels in line with Bugaboo’s premium design, and it integrates nicely with the stroller aesthetically. That said, the first thing I noticed is that the sibling seat is definitely smaller than the original/main seat. My toddler looks noticeably bigger in it, which makes it feel better suited for a smaller child or more occasional use depending on age and size. One of the biggest challenges for me is the seat positioning and configuration limitations. The smaller sibling seat cannot go in the top position, which means the larger seat has to stay on top and the sibling seat must go on the bottom. Personally, I don’t love that setup because it means my toddler has to be up top and my newborn would be lower down, where I can’t see him as easily. For me, that’s a downside when using it as a true everyday double stroller for a toddler and infant. I also found that when both seats are attached, there’s not a lot of room between them, which affects how much the seats can fully recline. Because of that, I’m not able to lay the lower seat flat enough for my newborn when both seats are on, which limits how usable it is right now for my specific stage with a toddler and a newborn. The canopy still provides good sun coverage, which I appreciate, but compared to the original stroller seat, it has less coverage, and like the main seat canopy, it feels a little awkward to pull down rather than gliding smoothly. I’ve also been experimenting with different seat configurations, and while it’s nice that there are options, I did find that taking the bottom seat on and off is a bit cumbersome, especially compared to some other comparable strollers that make switching configurations a little easier. Overall, I think the Bugaboo Kangaroo sibling seat is a well-made add-on with quality materials and thoughtful features, especially for families who want to expand their stroller system and keep everything within the Bugaboo setup. The comfort, bumper bar, and overall design are definite positives. For me, the biggest drawbacks are the smaller size, limited positioning options, and reduced practicality for a newborn/toddler combo in certain configurations. I added the sibling seat to the bugaboo kangaroo stroller to use with my younger kiddo to convert to a double. Attaching it to the stroller was a breeze, and the seat came mostly assembled so it was fast and easy to put together on my own. It came with the adaptors in the box so it wasnt yet another thing to have to purchase. It had less steps to assemble than the seat for the main stroller so converting to a double was fast and easy! I appreciate that it still has a large canopy that extends fully to ensure my kids get lots of shade in the Texas heat but also has a peek that you can check on your kids too. You can flip the seat facing both forwards and back so it's nice to have options as they grow. The weight limit on the sibling seat is 40lbs which is a larger capacity than the additional seat on some other doubles I considered using but is smaller than the main seat so this is best for two kids of slightly different ages vs twins. I received this seat to test from Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'd definitely put the Bugaboo Kangaroo stroller and sibling seat in the running for one of the best high-end strollers I've tried.
