Q: This may be a dumb question, but does it plug in or is it powered another way?
A: Hi, just purchased this today, it’s plug in
submitted byUpasna - 3 months agoA: Yes it plugs into a normal 120 Volt household receptacle.
submitted byJim - 29 days agoA: I purchased this recently. You have to plug it in.
submitted byShopper - 1 month agoA: Plugs in. I found out the hard way. Very misleading pics.
submitted byNothappycustomer - 3 months agoA: You have to plug it in for it to “work” properly.
submitted byEV - 8 days agoA: No I thought it was changeable
submitted byShima - 27 days agoA: Not at all - we're glad you asked. This would be a plug in heated throw.

Q: I washed the blanket and now it doesn’t work. Is there a way to fix it? It says machine safe and it appears to not be true.
A: Hi Cory! We’d like to help troubleshoot. Please reach out to productsupport@chfindustries.com
submitted byCHF Industries - 2 months agoBrand expertA: I’ve had the same issue mine came back on late but now will work for a little and then blinking and won’t turn on again for awhile.

Q: The main button on the blanket keeps blinking, what does that mean?
A: An unplug/restart should stop this but please do email productsupport@chfindustries.com for all troubleshooting inquiries.
submitted byCHF Industries - 3 months agoBrand expertA: That happened to me twice and I just unplugged and plugged it back, and it resolved the issue. It was also, plugged in my bad outlet so could be an electrical issue as well.

Q: What is the lowest and hottest temperature, I know it has 4 settings but im curious about how hot it gets
A: All temperature reading is based on 3rd party lab conditions. That said there is a large variance between lab and at home environment so we do not outlines temps.
submitted byCHF Industries - 11 days agoBrand expertA: I don’t know the exact temps, but the lowest setting on this Brookstone is hotter than a major competitor’s (Serta) heated blanket, and my dog finds this one too hot but that major competitor’s heated blanket is ok for him.
submitted byCC - 7 days agoA: I don’t know the exact temps, but the lowest setting on this Brookstone throw is hotter than a major competitor’s (Serta) heated blanket that states a low of 70 degrees, and my dog finds this one too hot but he loves that major competitor’s heated blanket.

Q: Does this material “pill” after washing?
A: Mine did. Just washed it and dried it and the material is ruined.
submitted byKat - 26 days agoA: Should not pill. We run our products through extensive wash tests during production to ensure performance.

Q: How do you turn it on when plugged in
A: Hi Cindy, please refer to the instruction manual included with your throw for detailed information on usage.
submitted byCHF Industries - 2 months agoBrand expertA: Look at the corners of your blanket. One should have a black soft button. Press that and it will turn on. You'll notice it turns red when on. You can press up to four times for 4 heat levels.
