I purchased 2 of these tonight and they’re both very soft. I love them… when they work. Unfortunately, they both keep shutting off in less than 30 minutes, sometimes only taking 5 minutes to turn off.

meh soft but isn't a great heated blanket
so this blanket is soft however the wires inside are felt. I havent noticed any fur fallout. the part that clicks in is kind of difficult to release so dont get this for somebody who has dexterity issues or any kind of hand problems. apparently its washable but haven't tried yet. 4 heat settings with button press however it doesnt get hot like a heating pad and mine isn't really evenly distributed throughout the whole blanket. its warm on half. defective or not, im not sure or just a design flaw. it is comfortable and I only use the highest setting since the temp doesnt get really warm.
