Bose x Kendra Scott Ultra Open Earbuds - Rhodium Filigree

I’ve had them since Dec 18th & it’s now the 29th - so I’ve been using them non stop. REASONS: My reason I wanted them was not for the sound - I wanted something super comfortable & secure on my ears that didn’t scream headphones - I wanted something aesthetically pleasing. I also wanted something more discrete. What I wanted was a way to be able to listen to audio books or podcasts on the DL - to allow for music or a podcast to ground me when I’m overwhelmed or overstimulated. PROS: They are gorgeous. These are delicate works of art - very ornate with the rhodium filigree. THEY ARE GORGEOUS. Everything about them is luxurious- from the packaging & the box - they really shadowed this being a very aesthetic jewelry purchase (& TBH I’m not a fan of Kendra Scott jewelry) They are very secure - I’ve worn them in my sleep & they stayed on. Wore them for an outdoor run or walk & they did not budge. Super comfortable & my ears don’t feel pinched or suffocated like a lot of open ear air buds do! I love being immersed in sound - but I have other headphones for that reason. These are strictly for when I’m walking my dog or working in the office. It’s allowing me to not make music the priority of my focus. I would never wear these in the gym unless I’m welcoming the distractions. There is no sound isolation or blocking AT ALL. Strange for Bose and granted the immersive sound is there - but honestly these are tiny comfortable speakers in your ear with immersive sound -they have to be adjusted to find that right placement. I’ve tried a LOT of open headphones & these are the best for comfort, power disbursement (battery life is amazing - used them all day in a 8-9 hour workday), & just general use. CONS: These are not trackable on your phone. If I was going by the retail price of $379 - that’s ridiculous. Granted it’s not an Apple ecosystem product, but plenty of headphones use bluetooth to track. This does not & if it does in any way - it’s weak. You loose or misplace them someone can pick them up. I remedy this with a case or an airtag case. There is no wireless charging - or USB C to USB C cord (it’s an USB A to USB C). Why? I don’t know. It’s 2025 - at least include one of these charging pluses. The case itself, it feels cheap & very light. There’s a magnet that allows headphones to display the filigree side upon opening ( I think all Ultra Open allow that side to be displayed) - but the case itself is very plastic with no metal finishes. In terms of usage, I am worried about how delicate the cuff is & the are the materials made from it durable for the long run. The IPX4 rating too as well - these are water resistant not water proof - so if you are a sweaty person or a swimmer - take that into account. SUM: There isn’t a single moment I regret my purchase especially when they dropped to the $250ish range. At $379-400? No. I have a pair of Ipod Maxes that are 500-600$. So it’s hard for me to justify the price for these. So the 20% off, the 5% from the Target card, & a 10$ bonus made it sweet. I love the design of these headphones, the security, & the comfort. I have headphones for when I do not want to be present & submerse myself in music -these are not it - these are headphones that make me be present & aware of my surroundings.

I love the sound quality and the comfort. My only complaint is it is hard for others to hear me when I am on a call.

I have hated all of my bluetooth earbuds/airpods. They never stayed in my ear so I was always losing them, my ears felt gross after having them in, and/or they hurt. These are so, so, so comfortable and with how they wear like an ear cuff its super cute and unobtrusive. One of my coworkers said it looked like jewelry. The sound is great. Not noise cancelling but with the open ear design its to be expected. Its like having a personal soundtrack. Love them.

I didn’t think OPEN EARBUDS would have such wonderful sound; but owning 5 BOSE products;one o which is the Radio/Cassette/CD player which as you can guess’ we’ve had for MANY YEARS and still use regularly. YES these are WONDERFUL with sound as good as any other earbuds; with the extra of being safer outdoors keeping you also aware of what’s golng on around you.

Have been using them for the last couple months, and I'm really impressed with how loud they are while still being able to head what's going on around you. The only complaints I have about them are that their grip on my ear isn't very secure, and they get knocked off quite easily. And also now that winter is here, I like to cover my ears with a beanie, and every time I do it takes like 2 minutes trying to position them just right on my ears so I'll still be able to hear my music after I put my beanie on.

Having my find should be a top priority! I can not use that feature right now.

Very disappointing with the quality of the product. It's not seamless sound as they claim it would be. There is frequent statics noise recurring.

The sound is good. People can’t hear me if I take a call with these. I was also hoping these would be comfortable with a beanie on but it just makes them dig into my ears

I’ve had them for two weeks sound amazing. I am a professional bass player and playing in a band, I need to listen to songs in stream and performance videos so I can hear the full range of frequencies especially the low bass frequencies . These accomplish that and more plus sound, crisp and clear on all other frequencies.

Okay so I bought two one for myself and one for my sister, I have been using the Samsung buds for years and loved them but they’re a bit outdated and I knew I didn’t want the apple buds they’re ugly and hurt my ears. I was in the market for an out of year option, these guys are perfect I did some research and read some Reddit threads. So far I love them they are super secure which I was worried about they are also super cute aesthetic pleasing. The sound was shockingly good and I like that you can totally customize on the app they’re so easy to connect. The battery life was another concern I wear them together at work when I can and they last me about 7-8 hrs but fully charge so fast. I used to just put one bud in so I could still hear but these don’t give me that issue I can wear both at a decent volume and still hear everything else or I can turn them up and tune out. I also have small ears so the others hurt after a few hours, no such issue with these. My single complaint is that I put my hair behind my ears or pull it out and knock them out at times but it’s not a big deal. I also don’t have issues with earrings but I only have two piercings in each ear.

Bought a few weeks ago. I guess my ears are too big because I can barely hear anything unless I push the earbuds into my ear further. Then they are not clipped on my lobe. These do not fit my ears. If Bose had an extra large I would need them. When it clips on my ear the sound is too far from my ear’s auditory canal so I barely hear the sound. These are not a good fit for all ears. Be sure you have small ears or they will not fit well.

I have purchased about 7 of the Ultra Open Earbuds. I am a fan. As a runner and hiker, I like the "open" concept for safety reasons. I have never liked things sticking out of my ears, like the AirPods. The design is a plus, plus. The earbuds have never fallen out while I am running, riding my bike or working out. I do wish 2 things: 1-that you do not have to use both ear buds at the same time. If you use only 1, you cannot close the case; 2 - the sound is better if you can somehow "tighten" the fit.

These are very different from all the other Bose product I own. They were designed with comfort, quality and concern for surrounding sound.

I am thoroughly impressed with these earbuds and have purchased my second pair to keep at a separate location for convenient use when my primary pair is unavailable. I have also gifted a pair to my wife for Christmas. One of the standout features is the excellent transparency mode, which allows me to enjoy music while remaining fully aware of my surroundings. Highly recommended.

I love the style of these earbuds! The sound is nice and very clear. I notice if you wear it all day your earlobe can get a little sore since it gets wrapped around. I wish when you pick up your calls that the calls would be louder and clear. That's the only downside I would say. Other than that, they are beautiful and love the sound quality and don't have to worry that I'll lose it like my Apple AirPods!

These are the earbuds I’ve been waiting for! I hate ill-fitting earbuds and have plenty in a drawer somewhere. Sound is excellent and I don’t have to worry able them falling out of my ear. I enjoy them so much that I bought a pair as a gift and another for my travel bag.

I absolutely love my new ear buds! They are easy to put in and the sound is perfect an they are so comfortable you can wear them all day with out falling out.

Bought these for my factory job. They fit well over my ear protection and I'm still able to hear what's going on around me while also getting a rich sound.

These are amazing. So incredibly comfortable, literally feels like you’re wearing nothing. I wear headphones pretty much all day while working and my ears get sore, so these are soooo much better. The sound quality is also incredible. I can’t believe these are an “open” ear bud. The Kendra Scott collab line is SO CUTE too. Highly recommend!!

Bought these a few weeks ago. Just what I needed - Bluetooth earbuds that don't go into my ear canal. Excellent sound and yet I can hear what's happening around me (if I choose to pay attention to it).
