Description

  • A: Hi Laurie. The CrossWave isn't a deep cleaner for carpet or upholstery. It's meant to vacuum and mop sealed hard floors at the same time. It can be used to vacuum and freshen area rugs, but won't work for deep cleaning carpet stains.

I’m absolutely in love with this!

We have 4 cats, & 5 dogs. The hair is absolutely crazy in our house. I couldn’t rave about this thing enough, it’s a huge game changer for our house!! I have even using this on my large L shape couch about 20 minutes before guests arrive and it will be completely dry. Then leaves the couch refreshed and hairless! I think I have used this Crosswave for just about every surface & am in AW that it cleans itself! I do it a few times if this brush looks pretty dryer after the first time & I always wipe out the tray so it’s not sitting in any dirty water from the cleaning! Makes vacuuming, mopping, light carpet cleaning super easy & quick!!

It's all about the SHORT BATTERY LIFE

I have been using this machine for several years. The BIG complaint is the BATTERY LIFE as I can't even empty one tank of water before the battery dies out. I get the kitchen done but the rest of the house has to wait for another day. I wish these units had longer battery life and/or even swap out batteries. Should have bought one with a power cord.

Totally regret buying this overpriced mop

Crosswave does not have enough suction to dry the floor. It works OK at best, but a Swiffer wetjet is just as effective and easier/faster. Crosswave doesn't really work on carpet and just leaves a wet streaky mess on the floor after cleaning.

I use this product on area rugs. I wouldn’t recommend. It’s not very powerful and does take time.

Never buying again!

I am so angry once again. This is our third Crosswave and have not had it even a year and it is doing the exact same thing the other two have done. It stops sucking up and only spits water and dirt out. I have cleaned it thoroughly and yet it does not pick up only spits out! I would never recommend these cleaners to anyone. I will go use my swiffer power mop

Amazing

This product does a great job cleaning my floors. It saves so much time. I don't have to sweep before washing my floor. It doesn't leave my floor very wet at all. Dries in minutes. I love it so much I have got one for four other people and they love it.

I wish I didn't buy this

The idea is great in theory, but too many issues that make me dread using this machine after only using it maybe 10 times in the last 6 months: 1. Seems convenient to vacuum & mop at once, but it ends up being WAY less convenient to have to spend 20 minutes disassembling and cleaning the multiple compartments of this thing out after EVERY use (and dust, hair, and dirt is way more disgusting when wet). Need gloves to dig through every crevice to remove grime. If not, machine will have error message to clean out and will not run. 2. Vacuum does not suction very well, I usually have to vacuum with my hand-held first and then go over with the Bissell, even for things like strands of hair (human or pet) on the ground that should be simple enough to vacuum... 3. Mopping only works on generally clean floors, any visible spots (coffee drips, etc.) cannot be washed away with this machine. I need to get a rag on my hands and knees to do this, which is fine but what's the point of using the mop feature then? 4. The machine is heavy and not convenient to lug up stairs. Basically, the machine only half-does any job (so you need to redo it anyways) and is very time-consuming (and nauseating) to clean. I wish I could return this and just buy 2 separate products - a light vacuum and swiffer/mop & bucket with washable head. P.S. I bought this on Black Friday for 50% off and still feel like it was a big waste of money.

I would recommend purchasing.

I purchased the wood floor roller because I was afraid to use the all purpose roller on my wood floors. However, I did try it on wood and it was fine. I recommend purchasing this vacuum!!

Cleans the whole house

I was holding it in one spot then moving slowly back and forth, I've found it's easier to do swift movements. I love how easy it is to clean the parts and how much dirt is picked up! Purchase review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use the Bissell to clean my Fathers apartment. Vinyl plank flooring and area rugs. Works pretty well. Fairly easy to clean machine and parts after use. Only complaint thought for cost of product it would last a little longer. Purchased same machine 2021 and just purchased another 3/2/2025. Maybe approximately four years used once a week maybe occasionally twice a week. Just wanted the ease of both vacuum and mopping for his small apartment. Tried to use in my house. Would not suggest for larger areas.
