Older is better
Love this mascara. Doesn’t smudge for me and stays on really well. I will say that I like it the best when I’ve used it for a while. When it’s new, it’s a bit too wet and goopy. I feel it works way better once it’s been used for a while and dries out more. Which is why when I buy a new one, I always keep my old one and do a base layer on my lashes with the old one, and then apply the new one on top once the base layer dries. Or, I’ll use the new wand and put it in the old container to make it so there isn’t as much mascara on my wand.

Waterproof, but not smudge proof?
I tried this mascara because it was on sale. While i like the brush to apply the mascara, and the textured handle (no slip!), i found that this mascara was a total miss. It claims to be waterproof (and it is hard to remove…), but like other benefit brand mascaras that ive tried, it left me with dark smudges under my eyes, even after just a few hours. Clinique high impact waterproof never does this to me, so going back to my tried and true.

i love this mascara so much! Its hard to find one that'll hold my lashes up but this one holds them up all day and night and makes them look extremely long! Its also easy to take off

The only mascara that doesn't make my lashes fall
I really do enjoy this mascara, it's one of the only few products that doesn't make my lashes fall. The only thing is the price point can really leave a mark, I've tried finding alternatives because of the price point, and I'm still looking 😭

Smudged & Smears all over
I use it for th first time today, busy day, I need something that doesn't leave my under eyes looking like a panda. This DID NOT do the job. I had little pieces/ clumps in my under eyes and it also smudges. Def do not recommend just get aoemthing cheaper, expected more

worth it, if you're willing to wait
This formula is sooooo wet when you first open the bottle. Its almost impossible to work with because it takes forever to dry down. However, if you let it dry out, it takes about a month, it will be the best mascara. I have watery eyes and I knew this had the potential to be a great product. Just, as a consumer, Im not typically willing to wait a month before I can use a product and like it. But it's pretty good once it does dry out. It stays on when I have to wipe my eyes. It separates and lengthens like a dream, Everything I could've wanted in a mascara.

Recommended by an Ulta Employee. Really hard to apply & avoid clumping. Way too much product on wand. Does hold lash. Super difficult to remove. Too expensive for the trouble.

Raccoon eyes
I got recommended this mascara by a benefit rep and explained that I am prone to raccoon eyes and typically use tubing mascara. She assured me I'd love it and told me to get a waterproof mascara specific eye makeup remover. Good saleswoman, horrible product. No matter what i do it winds up under my eyes. And while the raccoon eyes happen easily they are difficult to remove. Not just off of my eyelashes but literally from my undereyes. I gave it a few weeks to try to love this and im not sure ive hated a mascara more lol

This is the worst mascara ever. It is 100% not waterproof. I'm confused why the reviews are so good so either I got a bad batch or it's been reformulated recently. I loved the way my lashes looked with this mascara but it smudges EVERYWHERE. This isn't a problem I normally have so I was shocked and confused why this waterproof mascara was causing this. Both my upper and lower lashes smudged so it was black streaks and a messy everywhere throughout the day. Would not repurchase or recommend.

It was okay
It was an okay mascara. I applied very little and it still smudged and left me with raccoon eyes. If you don't have a problem with smudging then this will work great for you!

Worst product from Benefit
I bought this product to use on holiday to make sure I didn't get panda eyes the next day in the pool after wearing and removing it night. Thought get this expensive waterproof one to make sure there should be no running. However, it ran worse than any other mascaras I've had and even on return from holiday the mascara smudges and have embarrassing panda eyes! So disappointed
