    Perfect for gardening

Like the ph and the way the water was absorbed, and keep the seed hydrated. The weight is acceptable and pets are safe with it since it’s mixed with soil and herd. I don’t see any mold.

    Convenient and high quality soil!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The family loved using this expanding soil to our existing garden! We used it to expand and plant some tomatoes in the backyard. The fact that it comes in a compressed brick made it easy to receive and transport to the area, as well as the expansion went far, taking up a lot of volume, and broke up easily into the area, avoiding clumping. The texture was great and it was very easy to plant the seeds within it and has seemed to deter pests and unwanted bugs. We look forward to seeing the tomatoes grow!

    Wonderful Potting Soil

Coco coir's acidic nature combined with good drainage qualities are just what I needed to add to my potted blueberry plant! I will definitely consider purchasing this again this spring for starting seeds!

    Great for small gardens

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect for my townhome! It’s compact, and I don’t need a ton of soil. It’s great for starting an herb garden. Easy to use and it was easy to store until I needed it. I also don’t need to lug around a heavy bag of soil.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Back to the Roots Coco Coir Brick is SO EASY...to store, to use, to get it right and grow bigger better plants. Upon opening, the Back to the Roots Coco Coir Brick smelled fresh (like dirt not like funky mold/mildew/ick as with some others) and essentially stayed in tack with minimal dust or debris. I placed it inside a contractor trash bag, added some water and POOF it transformed into big fluffy growing medium. Following growing guidance on Back to the Roots' website I felt confident in what I was doing and my plants have already taken off: fennel, leeks, cippolini onions, carrots, and brassicas galore! My winter garden is rocking thanks to the great start this quality product provided. Seeing it is also PH balanced I feel like I saved even more money by not having to buy expensive soil treatments.

    Don't waste your money

    I used this to start several vegetable and herbs seeds. Nothing grew! Total waste of money. I did not overwater, kept it moist.

It doesn’t have strong scent which is plus for me. I will follow up after my seedlings sprout. If it works I would definitely buy more. Great value and price. Definitely recommend this pack!!!

Literally all you have to do is add the seeds, then sit back and watch em grow. This is also very good quality soil so you know your plants are getting the good stuff. The only thing I thought could be better was the packaging… maybe if it came in a bag that was resealable it would have stored better for me. That’s why I took a star off. Other than that I loved it!!
