Upon receiving my order as I open the packaging I noticed there was a lot of green mold growing on the bark and it had a very musty moldy smell to it so I ended up having to throw it out because customer service would not do anything about it they said that that is a normal and that I would need to soak it in water but that doesn't actually kill the mold if I were to put bleach or any chemicals in the bark itself it would kill my plants so needless to say this one in the garbage and I'm out $13 so I cannot recommend this product to anyone save your money and buy a better brand

I love the way this looks compared to regular soil. Looks much more decorative and is very healthy for my orchids.

What I found really nice about this product is the size of the bark for indoor potting is perfect, to inlcude the coloring was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised how far 3 lbs went.

I have been using this for a lot of my plants that get a lot of sunlight, it helps prevent the soil from drying out as much as if it had direct sunlight. I just water my plants as normal and the wood chips take most of the sun.
