Almost great...stiff narrow bolsters are a deal breaker
I was so impressed when I received this seat. It is clearly a high quality, solid seat. The install was very easy and using it is very intuitive. The spin is so easy and smooth. There is one big issue that became a deal breaker. There are bolsters on either side in the seat by the child's thighs. They are quite stiff, not pliable, moveable, or otherwise adjustable. Further, they cause the seating area to be extremely narrow, so narrow that it was a tight fit for my 25lb 11 month old. The manufacturer does not allow removing the bolsters under any circumstance at all until a child hits 40lbs (I called to double check). I met someone else who recently purchased this seat and had to return it because her 37lb daughter could not fit between the bolsters. I could not imagine trying to squeeze a child larger than mine in. We couldn't keep the seat because of this and it truly made me sad because it's difficult to find a seat of this quality at this price. I hope the manufacturer will consider a redesign that would allow the seat to have more space or to remove the bolsters at a lower weight while still passing all required regulations.

Hard to install securly and bottom harness straps awkward
Car seat seemed so promising and looks like a nice upscale seat. However, we struggled to get a tight install in our vehicle even with the lock off feature. The bottom harness is also awkwardly too far from the hip, it instead sat mid thigh on my one year old and appeared to be rubbing him when tightened. It did not look comfortable at all, especially as he continues to grow. While I did not put a newborn in this seat, I'm not sure how a baby would fit in here given the bottom placement, the straps would be close to the baby's knees even with the insert. Given that we hope to use this seat for 4-6 year minimum, we want it to be comfortable and fit in a secure manner, so we ultimately returned.

This has been a great transition from the joie rue infant seat. LOVE the color and ease of use. Seems very well made and rotates very smoothly. My 6 month old seems very comfortable in it and has fallen asleep every time he’s been in it. Much more affordable than other rotating convertible seats without lacking in quality

So many people were talking about this seat! Haven’t installed yet, just got it but very excited about it. Was sold out everywhere from the spring sale and I got super lucky and hope it’s worth it! Looks very nice so far. Baby being comfortable and safe are what matters the most

We absolutely love this car seat! Much more comfortable and safer than my other car seat for my little. Easy to install and very convenient. Arrived two days before its original delivery date. I was worried it was not going to fit in my Subaru Crosstrek at first, but it fits perfectly. Highly recommend investing in this product if you want a good quality convertible car seat!

Great Car Seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience with this product has been fantastic. I had previously been using a base + baby carrier, and this has undoubtedly been a quality of life upgrade. Out of the box, I was intimidated by the install - my previous system required two built in straps to two car seat anchors & that was it. Given the multiple modes of the Matcha, the install was obviously going to have uniqueness. The instructions were very clear, easy to follow, and supplemented by directions on the seat itself. The indicators are clear and in plain sight, which helped to give confidence in the accuracy & safety of the install. I was again impressed when I had to move the car seat from one car to another - the transfer was much smoother than I expected, just required a bit of rear belt tightening and we were all set. One drawback that I have found, which may be more related to my 2010 RAV4, is that the car seat, in rear facing mode, is very long. The front passenger seat has to be moved fairly far forward in order to make room for the car seat. Fortunately the frequenters of that seat are short so it hasn't caused major issues, but the time I sat there, was certainly tight. For that reason, I am extra looking forward to transitioning the car seat to a new mode, once our child's size allows. I have directed my mother-in-law to your site for her to purchase a model of her own!

An absolute winner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the Matcha 3-in-1 Rotating Car Seat! It has truly made getting my baby in and out of the car a breeze. The rotating feature is a total game changer—no more awkward twisting or straining. Grandpa said it best when putting my one year old in her seat when he said “somebody was thinking when they made this thing”. It feels sturdy, safe, and thoughtfully designed for real life with a baby.

A High-Quality Car Seat That Truly Delivers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love the Matcha Spin SI 3-in-1 Rotating Car Seat. It looks incredibly luxurious and high quality, and the cushioning made me feel so confident that my baby was safe, secure, and well protected. I also love that it accommodates 4–100 pounds, which gives me so much peace of mind knowing this car seat will truly grow with my child and last for years. The rotating feature is a total game changer — it makes getting baby in and out of the car effortless and has been amazing for saving my back. The only downside is that it’s fairly heavy, but we expected that and planned to keep it installed in the car full-time. It’s definitely not a travel car seat, but as an everyday car seat, it has exceeded our expectations in comfort, safety, and style.

Smart Decision
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As grandparents, we really love the Joie Match 3-in-1 360 Spin car seat. The 360-degree rotation makes it so much easier on our backs and knees when getting our grandchild in and out of the car. It feels very secure, well built, and comfortable, which gives us great peace of mind. We also like that it will grow with our grandchild, making it a smart, long-term choice.

Great rotating car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this car seat is really easy to install! My husband installed it in 5 min tops. My daughter is 8 months so we installed it backwards and it is still sooo roomy in my car compared to our other convertible car seat from a different brand for our two year old. It lays all the way back for her with room behind her seat and mine. The swivel feature makes loading and unloading my daughter sooo easy, such a game changer! Must have feature for car seats. Never had a swivel car seat before and I’ll never go back now. It’s comfortable and has very soft material for my daughter - she loves to sleep in the car and she was asleep within 10 min of being in this car seat the first time. I love that it grows with your child and that we won’t have to get a new car seat for her once she’s bigger!

A convertible seat full of convenience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First opening the package I was impressed by the nice mocha color and the feel of the fabric. It seemed very comfortable to sit in. A huge bonus that it meets the most current safety standards. I used this car seat with both my 2 year old rear-facer and my 4.5 year old harnessed forward-facer. The seat was installed in a 2022 Honda Pilot. Having space was really helpful, especially back to front. I could see this being more challenging in a small vehicle, but I had no issues in my car. The storage for both the LATCH straps was convenient, as well as the placing for the manual. The manual had all the information I needed to feel confident I had installed the seat properly. I didn’t use the installation video, but the QR code to watch it is both on the manual and the seat itself. Rear facing installation was fairly straightforward. I used the lower anchors to install rear-facing. The recline can be a little sticky, but overall it was simple. My son and I both really liked the convenience of the rotation. Because he’s an older “baby”, he did have to move his legs to rotate into the rear facing position. He hasn’t complained about it being uncomfortable. It was also very helpful that it could temporarily rotate forward facing to allow someone (both kids and adults) to slide in past it. I installed forward facing with the seatbelt. This was even easier than with the lower anchors due to the lock off feature. It did take quite a bit of force to close the lock off, but I was able to do it on my own as a petite woman. My daughter really enjoys being able to climb in easily and even rotates herself forward facing. Her favorite part of this car seat is how high it sits up in the seat. The recline can stick a little, but I was able to get to the desired recline that indicated level in my car without too much trouble. The magnetic chest clip is very nice, and the harness tightens and loosens very smoothly. The added loops to hold the buckles was a great bonus feature. And the no-rethread harness makes it easy to adjust as your kid grows. The cup holders are also a good size for various cups and toys. Overall, this is a very nice car seat. I found it to be more useful with my rear facing 2 year old. My 4.5 year old is pretty independent and, for her, this seat wasn’t really any more convenient than her previous static convertible car seat. My kids are younger, so I wasn’t able to try it as a booster, but I do plan to in the future. If you plan to forward face a younger kid (2 or 3), I could see this rotating car seat being really helpful. The tether anchor is not allowed for rear facing but required for forward facing. If your goal is to use the seat for both rear and forward facers simultaneously, this could be a hassle because you need to uninstall and reinstall to get the tether anchor out from behind the rebound panel. Also, there is a lower weight limit to the lower anchors for forward facing, so you may potentially need to change the installation method between kids. This car seat is a great choice from birth or if moving into a convertible from an infant seat. There isn’t really anything I don’t like about the seat. I recommend it!
