A: Yes, the Chili Spin SI can be reclined when used rear- or forward-facing. When using the seat rear-facing, the seat must be at the recline level where the blue level is entirely within the window.

A: The Chili Spin SI can be installed in any position in the back seat that has a vehicle belt (shoulder & lap belt or lap belt only) or dedicated lower anchor points. If your child is forward-facing, the position you choose to install the Chili Spin SI also requires a tether anchor point.

Great car seat, a little tricky to adjust right
This car seat has worked great for us so far. The headrest getting positioned correctly is a little tricky however and has to be VERY specifically adjusted to fit correctly.

Easiest carseat ive ever installed
I don’t think I have one negative thing to say about this car seat. This is the easiest seat I’ve ever installed and you don’t have to uninstall it to switch to forward facing. It doesn’t get uneven when using the seatbelt. The straps are so smooth as well as the turning. The magnetic chest clip is awesome too. Overall I’m so happy with them (I bought two one for forward facing and one for refacing) fits really well in my ford fusion!

Not Evergreen
I bought this seat after learning about this brand a few months ago. My baby is almost 10 months and we just installed this to transition him from the infant seat. I have to say I was extremely excited to get the Evergreen color. To me disappointment when I opened the box I thought I got the wrong color. The seat is grey not green. So the picture on the website is extremely inaccurate. I’m not happy at all about that. I know it’s just a color but it’s truly lying and for how much you spend on this seat it’s annoying. My husband said the installation wasn’t too hard but the seat is extremely bulky. We drive. 2024 4Runner and it’s huge and takes so so much of the back seat. We are considering returning the seat. I will say the quality is very good and I love that it rotates but the color thing is very very disappointing and not ok at all.

The evergreen color is inaccurate. The infant insert is the evergreen color. The actual car seat is grey unless they messed up the order twice and gave me grey again. Disappointed the color is not accurately represented.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best car seat ever!! It’s always been a struggle getting my girls into their car seats—until now. They love the Joie Chili Si! The rotating seat is such a game-changer; they think it’s the coolest thing and actually look forward to getting in. The seat itself is incredibly cushy and comfortable, and it feels so sturdy and well-built. You can really tell that safety was a top priority in the design. The rotating feature is a total lifesaver—especially with my 4-year-old still rear-facing. Being able to turn the seat toward me makes buckling her in and getting her out so much easier (and way easier on my back!). I can’t recommend this car seat enough—it’s worth every penny for both the comfort and convenience

Small enough for Honda Fit
I just ordered this seat for my son who just turned 1 and am very impressed. It was easy to install and fits rear-facing in my Honda Fit, which most seats will not do. We have this and the Graco DLX and I found this easier to install and it feels more padded. My only complaint is the you need two hands in order to rotate it, which makes it slightly inconvenient, but no worse than a traditional rear facing seat. The green is also very subtly and looks gray in most lights.

Quality and comfort!
Recently bought this for my baby after comparing many of the 360 car seats and I do like it a lot! Love the different recline options and the magnetic buckle! So easy to use! I will say that it does rattle a bit. I’ve uninstall and reinstall and it sounds like there’s some kind of clicking sound going on somewhere. When baby is in, it’s not as prominent but once baby is out and empty it’s kind of annoying but I’m just super sensitive to noise like that and I notice it a lot more than my husband does. Overall happy with the car seat. It’s such a good 360 car seat with the price tag!!

Excellent Upgrade After My Previous Car Seat
I bought this seat after getting into an accident. I choose the Chili Spin 360 si & I couldn’t be happier. The swivel feature makes buckling in so easy, it feels very sturdy and safe, and my little one is super comfortable. The side impact pads do make the seat a little tighter fit but no complaints from my son. I love the evergreen color and it was a little difficult to install but once installed it’s perfect.
