A: Hi Luichi, To get your camcorder to turn on without being connected to the charger, first check if there’s a plastic cover over the battery contacts. This cover is often included for protection and must be removed. Here are the steps: Open the battery compartment. Take out the battery. Remove the plastic shield covering the battery contacts. Reinsert the battery and close the battery compartment. Then, connect the camcorder to the charger and let the battery charge fully. Once charged, the camcorder should work without needing to be plugged in.

Works well, gives a 90s style to videos and photos. Biggest issues is the video setting is a bit “glitchy” it seems to jump a lot like it’s not a smooth recording. The other issue is colors in photos are very muted and they come off black and white unless it’s a very bright area. Easy to use though lots of settings to mess with. The camera was also fully charged before my event and I could only take 3 very short videos and a few photos before it died which I thought was strange.

Turned on once then when turned on again it froze
I got it because of the good reviews then when it came it turned on and everything, i took the film off the battery and then charged it. I was just now opening it up again to find that it was frozen on a black screen and would no longer turn off. Even when removing the lens cover it was still frozen on a black screen. It's very weird and there is no SD card in it yet

It was okay
Takes fine pics and videos of a lot of resolutions, has fun filters to play with and its just so fun to use it. The product is a 5 out of 5 the only problem is that in the target website description says that it includes 512 gigs of storage out of the bix when it doesn't, maybe they were trying to say that the maximum sd card it supports is that size but its written incorrectly. Kind of annoying cuz i had to go back for the sd card.

Heyday Camcorder
Hi there! I'm having trouble with my camcorder I removed the plastic like I've read on the reviews and I want to know how long does it take to charge and once I remove the plastic from the battery do I put it back in the camcorder while it's charging!? Because it only turns on when it's charge, I don't want to return it I would like to keep it so I'm trying my best to see how this can work!

Not the best, confusing???
Everything was okay at first, it was recording and taking pictures. That was until i took the plastic off the battery. It has a sd and memory card, so thats not an issue. Now it doesnt turn on or do anything, even on the charger.

Fun and Lightweight
Wow this camcorder is a throwback to my younger years when we didnt have cell phones that took pictures or video. I kind of love having a separate thing to do that with again. It does not come with a memory card so I recommend buying a decent sized one. I got a 256mb to start with to see how it went. The quality of the video is pretty good and it has a lot of nice little easy to use features such as a light, zoom, and a timer. There is a spot on the bottom to use with a tripod, although I do not currently own one. I would buy a good case for this to transport it, but it seems well made.

Great quality for the price
This camera is great for carrying around, the picture and video quality gives that early 2000s vibe, the speaker on the camera sucks but when you transfer the video onto a computer from the SD card it sounds much better, most definitely worth the price.
