Why do most electric throws have the power control so close to the foot end of the blanket that you can’t have it “at hand” to control temperature and/or turn on and off? Only plus side is that it is soft pleasant material.

The quality of the blanket itself is great. The cord and controller are also of great quality! I love the little foot pocket, so that I can tuck my cold feet in, which is a little harder to do with just a regular blanket or throw. It heats up quickly and adjusts nicely to the warmness you desire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 3rd Sunbeam Heated blanket and they have been great! My first was a gift from my husband who somewhat hijacked it over time (3 years old and still going), and daughter "borrows" my other one (1 year old and no problems) so chose this one for her. It's super soft and the foot pockets are great! It has 4 heat settings and turns off after 4 hours in case you forget. I appreciate this one (like our other Sunbeams) is machine washable so it's easy to keep clean and maintain. Definitely a great blanket and look forward to a cozy winter now all 3 of us can snuggle up in our heated blankets.

It has 4 heat settings and up to 4 hours auto shut-off. The fabric is so soft and the sherpa feels so comfortable. I love that the cord is removable to wash the blanket. It is great to have this blanket on those colder nights to feel comfortable on the couch while watching a movie or television. It is a nice size and keeps you very warm and cozy. I highly recommend this heated throw blanket!
