However, for the 5’x7’ and 8’x10’ sizes, a wireless controller is included, allowing you to conveniently adjust the heat settings and timer at any time. Q: Can you have heavy furniture on this rug, like a sectional couch or coffee table?

A: Thank you for your question. Since this heated rug contains internal heating elements, it is not recommended to place heavy furniture directly on top of the rug. For the 8'x10' size, there is a designated safe area (within the yellow caution lines) where heavy furniture can be placed without affecting the heating function.
