copper plated, not solid copper
ordered these thinking they were solid copper based on the description and price when they arrived, the package had “copper plated”, so they were only copper on the outside

Cleaning brush not included
I bought these to replace my assorted bent glass straws, which got lost or broke over the years. I could not find bent glass straws in the correct size, so I tried these. The size is good for a range of cup sizes. I mainly use them for drinking coffee, to avoid staining my teeth. The metal gets hot with hot beverages. Also, these straws do not come with a brush for cleaning the inside. My existing straw cleaning brushes are too thick to get through the bend. So I guess a good rinse will have to suffice
