The Victor Wide Pedal mouse trap is a "traditional" mouse trap with a little something extra. The original wood-based wire snap trap now has a wide plastic trip pedal to ensure higher catch rates. No need to bait with a cheese scent made right on the trip pedal! This trap is an ideal solution for rodent control in your home or business. The Victor M035 mouse trap is made with wood from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified forests. Trap measures 4 in x 1.75 in. Victor snap traps are an efficient solution and kill mice instantly and humanely. With both firm and sensitive settings, you have complete control over the sensitivity of the trap, making trapping even easier.

Skip these
Cheap ends up expensive. They are easy to set unless they have bait on them. A few molecules of peanut butter set them off. Only 1/4 were even settable so they are more expensive than they appear.

Been trapping mice for years outside of my house to keep them out. In past had trouble with mice stealing the peanut butter bait. Not with this one. Best trap I have used over the years. The plastic piece with holes to put the peanut butter bait is a winner.

Garbage.
Instructions tell you to remove the staple holding the arm down. Now the arm is only loosely attached to a flimsier staple and flies off when you try to set the trap. All four traps = waste of money. I've used this type of trap before (different brand) and they didn't do this.

Worst mouse trap I've owned
The instructions say to bait the pad, wrong. You put the bait in the little space above it according to their YouTube videos. The thing won't stay set when you go to place it down. The small latch is slippery plastic and won't catch. After about 10 tries, I threw them away. Pure junk.

Setting the trap on a flat, stable surface and making sure the metal bar is aligned with the catch can also help prevent it from snapping prematurely.

Missing Springs!!
Bought two packs and ALL FOUR traps were missing the springs, so therefore all were faulty traps. Packaging prevents you from seeing trap prior to opening. Awful product!!

Had a hard time staying set, but worked within minutes of setting where they hide
We have been paying a guy to come out to kill and prevent pests including mice, we even got feral cats on our property, and still had mice getting inside... my husband set 4 traps and slid the first one behind the couch by the door, he went to place a second one a few minutes later, and SNAP we caught that mouse in under 10 min! It did take a few minutes, it didnt die immediately, but that pesky guy wont be in my kitchen tonight!
