Expired Meat
The meat had already passed it's expiration date when I made the purchase. I hadn't checked the expiration date, my fault, but it should have never been sold to me. I served it to my mother and she got sick. Never trusting Target to rotate it's stock again.

So much gristle, weird shape and size
After success with a smaller more expensive variant I clicked ok to sub with these thinking more expensive would at least guarantee the quality would be as good or better. But a full 1/2 of each steak had huge gristle in every bite, the two steaks were very different thicknesses and shapes, neither had consistent thickness. Both were a lot thinner and larger than the packaging makes it appear.

Tough as leather
I tenderized it, cooked it medium rare, and it was still like eating a piece of beef jerky. The reviews were so good, not sure if I got a bad set or if I’m just a steak snob but these were awful.

Season, Fry in Olive Oil and Butter, Don't Overcook
LOL Everyone saying they're awful is probably trying to barbcue them and cook the heck out of them. I cook them in an iron skillet with garlic olive oil and butter and season them with sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder and Shilling Grill Mates. I use medium flame and cook until the inside is pink and juicy but not raw. I don't like well done. These are perfect since they're just enough. For those who don't know how to cook them to their liking don't buy them, more for me.

Just marinate!
Great! We’ve only ever used with a marinade though but turns out really good. We typically start the marinade at night then let it sit all day the next day as well and it turns out very tender and flavorful. We use these steaks every time. Soooo good!

Usually good this was like eating shoe leather and even possibly dyed red.You may want to check your suppliers cooked to rare and added lemon and wine it was still tough and chewy had to dump the whole thing , completely tasteless
