Very tender and delicious steaks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, these steaks were delicious!! We had a large family gathering so we decided to cook everything at once. When the box originally arrived, I thought it seemed like a small amount of meat. But the cooked steaks fed everyone and there was even a good amount left over! The yellow fat content made it obvious that this product is a high quality, grass-fed meat. Everything tasted delicious and tender. I don’t know that I have ever noticed a huge difference in cuts of meat but the filet mignon in this box was outstanding! It was buttery soft and had a different flavor from the other steaks. Super delicious overall! I received an incentive to write this review.

A great beef sampler! Flank steak is a win!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steak celebration pack was delivered to me still totally frozen despite the fact that the dry ice it came with had completely evaporated. Most companies are using gel packs now but I appreciate that this was one less thing to dispose of for me. If there was a shipping delay, my box would have been ruined. The meat looks like great quality for the price! I chose to start with one of the flank steak packages. I thawed it for a few hours in a marinade, and threw it on the grill for some quick tacos for the family. The meat was tender and delicious, and had easily absorbed my homemade marinade in less than 3 hrs. One of the flank steaks did have a long white membrane in it (tendon?) - it didn’t materially affect my taco experience. My family is very excited about the next steak taco night and I’m looking forward to the remaining recipes I’ll make with the celebration box! I received an incentive to write this review.

Flavorful, convenient packaging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This butcherbox came with 8 cuts of steak - two filets, two strips, two boneless ribeyes, and two flatiron steaks. We cooked the strips, they had a traditional fat cap along the edge (great for flavor and expected). We also cooked the two filets, which were tender but did have a couple lines of sinew in them. The flavor was excellent, they needed minimal seasoning and were a hit with the whole family. The only issue we had was with our first delivery which did not arrive on the day stated. Otherwise, this was an excellent purchase for our family of four steak lovers. I received an incentive to write this review.

Quality steaks delivered fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The order came super fast! Within two days from ordering it showed up on my doorstep and the meat was still frozen thanks to the careful packaging and dry ice. I was impressed from the get go. The steaks were decent size. I made the strip steak and it did break into pieces after thawing but it still cooked and tasted excellent. I love that the steaks are grass fed- that is super important to me. I received an incentive to write this review.
