[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve always loved turtle beach for our headphone for casual gaming! My husband has 2 for his xboxes and I was excited to get it for my switch! Comfort fit, slimed down from what my husband has. Earmuffs can turn inward for better storage! I really like it doesn’t press on my helix piercings which is a problem with quite few I had. Plugged in to okay animal crossing finding the sound is crispy with a little noise canceling! Haven’t test durability yet, probably probably update this in a year to see how it does! Over all! Super impressed!

They are also really good at not being loud even if the volume is all the way up people near you can’t hear that you are listening to anything. They are a little large so it can be hard to take them on the go but they really do all of the things you want a headphone to do the audio is very clear through them it’s great! Overall a great product I recommend!

The volume control is simple and responsive, and the flip-up mic works great clear audio and quick to mute. It also does a nice job with noise isolation, blocking out background sounds. What I enjoyed: Ultra lightweight and comfortable This headset feels barely there. Even after several hours of gameplay, I hardly notice the weight. The padded headband and cushioned ear cups distribute pressure well, so there’s no discomfort creeping in. Great volume and intuitive controls The on ear volume wheel is responsive and easy to reach, which means I can crank up or lower sound quickly without fumbling. The “flip-to-mute” mic feature is also well designed just swivel it up and the mic mutes instantly. Effective noise isolation The synthetic leather ear cushions seal around your ears decently, cutting down ambient noise (room fan, background chatter) and helping you focus more on your game audio. Mic is flexible and user-friendly I like that the mic can pivot and fold out of the way when not in use. Xbox compatibility The Recon 70 works with the Xbox controller, which was an extra convenience for me. The universal 3.5 mm wired connection also means it’s compatible across multiple platforms (not just Xbox) without extra adapters.

Purchased two sets for my wife and I as we’re getting more into gaming lately. We both really like our headsets. My daughter has one from her grandparents that is what caused us to buy more. The red headset is darker in person than pictured on the website but not a big thing to us. My son is now begging for one to replace is other cheap set. For the price the quality is there. Comfortable to wear and nice audio. The mic picks up really well also. If you can handle having a wire connection the recon 70 is the way to go for sure.
