Review Quotes

"Very informative and surprising book about the sky! Clearly a well thought out book that connects so many different aspects of nature, life, and science to the sky." --Rebecca NYPL, Librarian

"Focusing on one topic which is the sky, this book really deliver important things kids should know whenever they look at the sky. I like the introduction and the illustrations sometimes varies in each page. My daughter will love this one for sure." --Marianito Gonzales, Reviewer

"The illustrations are well done and are directed at bringing across the information clearly while keeping a light atmosphere to the read. The text is kept concise. While some pages carry short paragraphs scattered over the page, many pages only have a few words here and there to point things out. This makes it appropriate even more reluctant readers and also creates easy skimming for the eyes. It's definitely a read to be picked up time and again, and enjoyed even at only a few pages age a time." --Tonja R Drecker, Blogger

About the Author

Radka Piro is a bookworm, a passionate traveler, and a creative storyteller. After studying foreign languages, she set out to explore the distant corners of the world and discover her true purpose. Now, she is a successful writer and editor, based in the Czech Republic.

Aksana Rashetska is a professional illustrator, primarily of children's books. She is originally from Belarus, where she completed her education at an art school in Minsk. She came to the Czech Republic to learn from Czech illustrators and artists and completed her bachelor's and master's studies at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She is greatly inspired when she sees children smile as they explore the books she has illustrated. She mostly draws using a graphic tablet, but likes adding manually drawn textures to her illustrations. She also enjoys creating pop-up books and 3D worlds.
