The Casper Medium Essential Cooling Foam Pillow - Standard/Queen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I has been using Casper Essential Cooling for few a nights now, and overall I am really impressed. The foam feels supportive without being to firm. One of my favorite things is the cooling effect.

I love the soft material of the casing and I love the foam material and I love the cooling effect. But it is too big. I wake up in the morning with a stiff neck and it makes me hate the pillow. My neck and back hurt after sleeping on it for 4 days and I wake up with a headache. I wish it were smaller so it didn't hurt my neck. If it were, I would see nothing wrong with it and would love it.

The durability is impressive; the foam feels substantial and holds its shape. I also was pleased there was no chemical smell when removed from the box. However, the loft is too high for me. Because it didn’t compress enough it kept my neck at a backward angle all night. If you are a side sleeper who likes a tall, firm feel, this is a winner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pillow is AMAZING. I’m a side sleeper and kind of picky with pillows. It always seems they’re too firm or too soft. But this one is perfect in my opinion. It’s firm enough to really give some good support, but it sinks in slightly with the weight of your head so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. It’s super squishy and feels like high quality materials. The outside cover feels durable and you can unzip it to remove it from the inside portion so that you can wash it (machine wash cold, dry flat). The cooling feature is incredible. I’ve never used a cooling pillow before and now I can’t imagine wanting to buy another pillow again that doesn’t have that feature. I love feeling a slight coolness, and I think it helps regulate my overall temperature. We sleep for so much of our lives, so I’m a big fan of splurging on the things that can positively affect life. I’ve been getting great, deep sleep with this pillow. And as the warmer months approach, I know the cooling feature is going to be such a relief. Will likely buy a second one soon to have a pair for the bed.

I am a side sleeper and need something firm that will keep my head elevated and in line so I don’t wake up with intense neck and back pain. This pillow hit all the marks for me! At first, I was nervous it wouldn’t work for me, it looked thin but was surprisingly firm when I touched it. When I laid down for bed, I was shocked at how firm but still soft it was, it was perfect! I immediately knocked out and had one of the best night of sleep I have had in a long time. The cooling effect was also a nice added touch. I am always impressed by Casper products and this pillow did not disappoint.

My shoulders and neck feel great! There is no unwanted smell and it feels like this pillow is going to last a long time!

It’s going to be nice for the hot Texas summers because it is cooling and breathable. It also has a cover that zips off for easy cleaning, love that!

It has its own removable pillow case that can be easily washed time by time. Memory foam is so soft and keeps its shape. I like that everything made from breathable material and washable! I really, really wanted to love this pillow but I just couldn't find it comfortable. I am a side sleeper and back sleeper and I just couldn't get comfortable no matter the position. I will say that I think that the material is good quality but I feel that the pillow is almost too thick and firm for it to be comfortable for my neck or even between my legs. Well this wasn't a good fit for me, maybe it would be for someone else.

But i would say that i didn’t feel it cooling at all. I would still recommend this pillow, i like it that is a memory foam pillow.

The pillow itself I do not like. It’s extremely firm and thick, which is the exact opposite of what I like in pillows. If you like thick pillows that are foam, you would love this pillow. For me it’s very hard to sleep on - my head didn’t really sink into the pillow it just rested on the top of it, which ended up hurting my neck because it’s so thick. The pillow itself is a great idea / but would be more useful if it had different firmness and thickness types so everyone could choose their desired one.
