Sturdy. Tall. Excellent
In shopping for a kitchen stepstool, I saw many offerings which were cheaper, but upon reading, most stools were only rated for 200 pounds. And only had 2 steps. This is rated at 500 pounds and has 3 steps. It feels solid under me even when I'm on the top step - and the extra step means that I can get up to reach things at ceiling height. It may not seem like a big difference, but the minor extra price is well worth it to me - to feel sturdy and secure while reaching the high-up places. It's really a "whole different step stool" than the cheaper offerings.

Love it
I just wish I had this when I was starting my project. That extra fourth step is all I need to be able to cut in along the ceiling or work in the kitchen. It's counter height so I can straddle the ladder and the counter to reach some areas. I really like that all the steps are the same width, all accommodate my footpad. It collapses neatly and fits in the space between my washer/dryer stack and upright freezer. Very well engineered. Much appreciated. My only regret is that over time it will get spattered with paint and won't be as nice looking. I try to look at all the spatters as souvenirs of making a home my own. This looks like this will outlive me, so I guess that will make the paint spatters part of my legacy to my descendants.

very sturdy and easy to move ladder
ok so we got this because we have a lot of pot lights in our home and one seems to go out each week. So picked up this ladder so we did not have to use chairs. It is very easy to move from one area to another. Seems very sturdy. Unfolds and folds pretty easily. I like the rubber feet on it, make me feel better about getting on it and not having to worry about it slipping. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

Easy to open and close, lite weight for portability
The ladder is strong and sturdy. Easy to open and close and store away in my kitchen pantry. Lite weight enough to carry around to other areas of the house for use, and I like the green color it is different and attractive.

A little smaller than you might think, but mighty things can come in small packages!
So I purchased this for a few projects around the house, specifically because of the 500lbs claim, as I like to keep my tools, paint etc right within reach.Pros:1.) Folds up TIGHT. I mean, you can lay the thing flat against the wall and it sticks out less than a door handle.2.) Lightweight! I’m physically disabled and it limits a lot of the tasks I used to be able to do. Lifting heavy things is one of them, so this is a welcome addition to my tools.3.) Rubbarized/comfort foam handle make it easy and soft to carry.4.) Durable “bed liner” like paint job with a rough texture, makes it easy to hang onto with slippery hands. It feels almost like a powder coating.5.) Rubberized “feet” will keep the stepladder from sliding into tiled/hardwood floors6.) Heavily textured steps make for sure footing, while climbing up or downCons:1.) It can definitely hold a lot of weight but I wouldn’t expect that it can 500 lbs, not safely anyhow.Ultimately, it’s a good buy! I would say that the size of this and the durability of the finish would lend this PERFECTLY to camping. In my photos, you can see the size difference between this stepladder and my Werner 9ft “pro grade” set. I’ll be bringing this in my camper, personally and then I can leave the Werner at home! Definitely a good buy!

It Really IS Sturdy!
I had my doubts that this would actually be sturdy enough for me, because many things marked "sturdy" or "heavy duty" don't live up to the title when put to the test. I'm pleased to say that this one definitely IS extra-sturdy. When a ceiling light went out recently, I finally had the chance to test this mini-ladder out. It's the first time I've had no concern about a residential ladder sagging or wobbling under me. Only the strongest rolling commercial ladders (like you might see used by stockers in a membership warehouse) have been stronger. If you usually shy away from ladders out of fear of them breaking or tipping on you, buy this one.

Great item! Love it!
This is great product, easy to assemble and easy to use, lighter than most real ladder and better than ladder as it has space to stand unlike a bar to stand like most ladder. Light enough for a woman to handle and the top tray is a godsend!I mistakenly order three step and returned and one I mistakenly sent to other address on Walmart by total mistake but these doesn’t count as me not liking it. Sorry for trouble. I love this 4 step and I recommend any household to have one!

Worth every penny
Ditto on Tasha's entire review. Take a look at the photo. There are several points I'd like to make. The topmost step on my old wooden ladder that is safe to stand on is Step 3. Anyone standing on Step 4 better have their hospitalization insurance paid up, because it's very risky and standing on the top of any ladder is just plain stupid. Standing on the 4th step of the HB Tower ladder is safer than your perch would be on Step 3 of the wooden one. Notice also, there is a 5" height advantage to the top SAFE step on the Tower. Another nice design feature is that the steps are closer together on the Tower. That may not be important to you young bucks, but when you're 88 it is a blessing. The Tower is sturdy enough to easily support my 212 lb bulk and steady enough to assure me of a safe stand. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

A Step Above
We have always carried a 2 step ladder camping to help with the awning and other little jobs. We recently bought a too tall truck and new fifth wheel hitch which made it impossible to uncouple the fiver from the ground any longer. This ladder is invaluable reaching over the side of the truck and the way the top step "locks" the ladder down is very reassuring.

Get sturdy and easy to work with
200lb 44 yr old Christmas decorator had a great time with this ladder. It was easy to maneuver around and felt plenty sturdy underneath even when reaching far. I would recommend it to anyone with high ceilings and a storage unit :)

Chunky chickie approved ??
Bought this step ladder because my previous one buckled when on the last step. I didn't appreciate that, especially when I'm not super chucky (less then 200lbs). Straight from the box, it was very easy to use, just unfold and push down the top step to lock open. Sturdy... no wibble wobble to the legs. Little footpads are flared at the base and ensure you don't go sliding around at inopportune times. It had wide steps and a thick frame,I stood on the top step and felt very secure. Good job guys!

Lightweight and easy to move around
We're tall at our house, but our cabinets are taller, so this is perfect to tuck in a corner (it's so thin!) and pull out to put things away, take things out, or clean inside the deep, dark back corners of the cabinets. One never knows what might be lurking there, but now it's easy to get on eye level with the mysteries and tackle them (or avoid them if they're too scary). The sturdiness, the thinness, the light weight? All make me glad I made this choice. Zero regrets.

Great! Quick & Easy Utility Ladder
I was looking for utility ladders and this one caught my attention because of the extra wide feet. I snagged it to try it out. I have been greatly pleased with it!We live in a deserty area and use a swamp cooler for our home. Ours mounts in a window and we take it down and store it during the winter, which means I need a chair/stool in the grass to help me put it in and take it out. The wide feet on this ladder are perfect for this! It didn't sink into the dirt. And then using it around the house has also been fantastic. It's quick and easy! While being very sturdy.

Fabublous Ladder
I needed a good ladder to reach high-up things in my apartment. I looked at quite a few but I needed to have something to lean on that was higher than me when I was up and cleaning. Each time I looked at a ladder there was a number in parenthesis beside it so I decided to click on that number and see what it meant. Well, it was the number that that particular ladder was rated on the "Best Ladder" List. So, I checked out number 1 and it was the HBTower Ladder and what a beauty it is. It comes 95% assembled. All you need to do is attach the top handrail and the working platform. I am a senior and like most seniors a little afraid of climbing a ladder. Not so with this one. I was up on the third step and cleaning the ceiling fan in no time. My bowl of cleaning fluid and paper towels were on the tool platform. I have a few high cleaning jobs here and now I'm not afraid to do them. I love this ladder. It is unusually assembled. It just reeks of stability the moment you unpack it. The fourth step secures the A-frame's width and not the usual push down connection. The non-slip steps are different, also, from the usual rubber steps. I would certainly recommend this ladder to everyone and especially someone who is afraid of climbing a ladder.

Sturdy
I like this step ladder because it is fairly lightweight and easy to carry from one place to another. Also, the ladder I have now is more complicated;buttons must be pushed and held while opening/closing etc. but this one opens with a push down on a stair and stabilizes once stepped on. It closes just as easily when stepped off. Just fold and put away, no pitched fingers. The best part of the step ladder is the width. The ladder is wide and the stair steps themselves are wide so I feel more secure with more of my foot is on the stair. Once opened, the step ladder seems sturdy and is easily transported.

Best 3 step ladder I have found
This is very sturdy. It is light weight for the size. I can easily handle it. My 84 yr old mother can handle it. Snaps into locked position and unlocked easily. folds up small enough that I can store it in the small opening between the side of my fridge and the wall. Comfortable to stand on the top step and still feel sturdy.

Impressive quality
I purchased this step ladder for interior work. I have window blinds that need cleaning and repair. The mounting brackets can't be reached from floor level. I am 76 years old and the narrow steps on a traditional wooden step ladder are too wobbly for me to use safely. This unit is extremely well made and sturdy. I feel secure when using it.

Wonderful product!
I am an elderly, overweight female with bad knees. I did not feel safe on step on stool unless there was something to hang onto. With this step ladder, I can safely change a light bulb or dust the ceiling fans again. I carry this around my house choir to choir and don't get stressed out about falling down. Highly recommend it to people with bad joints, are a little leery of heights or are too heavy for a regular step ladder.
