[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am hearing impaired and I wanted a sound system that would help me hear what was being said on TV more clearly rather than always asking for clarification or depending on closed captioning. I wasn't interested in deep bass sounds or booming action. I have tried several models and brands and while impressed with surround sound, This is the first I have purchased with less than 5 channels and without the surround speakers. I did because of the “ Built-in Center Speaker for Clear Dialog”. I am thrilled to say that IT WORKS!!! It truly isolates dialogue which makes listening so much easier. It even helps at night after I take my hearing aids out when I tend to put the tv louder, but it doesn't clarify the dialogue at all. (not to mention the frustration to everyone else in the house!)
