This tarot card set features a beautifully designed box that many guests appreciate, but it falls short in functionality. The cards are oversized and difficult to shuffle, and the included guidebook is either blank or lacks detailed explanations. While some guests find value in the aesthetic appeal, others express disappointment over the lack of instructional content, making it less suitable for beginners. Overall, it may serve as a decorative item rather than a practical tarot reading tool.

So disappointing. Hardly any info in the book. Basically says to use them as intention cards. Spelling errors and typos in the book. And no explanations of what each card means. Super duper disappointing.

The box is prettier than the cards let’s just put it. That way cards are too big for me to shuffle and I have big hands. I end up returning the product because they’re just impossible to shuffle. I shuffle most of my tarot cards like you would shuffle pack of playing cards first top to top then arch them so they get plenty of wearing and tarot to work in. For five bucks, you could find a better pair Five Below or at least a pair that will fit in your hands. If they were smaller, I would’ve kept them. You’re definitely paying for the box and not the cards. But for $15 pack that’s not bad but they don’t come with a guidebook if you’re a beginner reader. also, I was upsetting to find a classified these as a party game in the party section of Target . if you’re wondering where they’re at and not in the books section which surprised me. You can clearly order a pack of tarot cards from target that clearly come out out of the book section. There basic deck style.

You get what you pay for

I will never understand people who are cheap, but complain about what they get. Nice, quality tarot card sets with full instructions are $40 on the low end, and hundreds of dollars at the high end. For a $15 set at target, what are you people expecting? If you're looking for high quality then PAY for it. Otherwise accept that you chose something cheap. If you don't know by now that the internet exists (where you can look up billions of tarot card instructions for free) then you need help.

    Rider-Waite Tarot Deck

I have knowledge in reading the Tarot cards, so this is a yes for me. It's not something to learn overnight even if it came with a manual.

    Less than Pretend Tarot Card

While I wasn’t expecting much given getting these from Target, I loved the box but everything is disappointing. Poor advertising, doesn’t come with guide book and the few instructions it comes with is more so for oracle style cards. Luckily I didn’t open the pack of cards and after seeing the pictures from reviews, I will be returning.

Bought it on clearance and still disappointed

Wish I would've read the reviews. The guide book is blank journal and the cards look like photo copies of real cards so you can't even make out the pictures. Very poor quality. You're basically paying for the velvet box it comes in and not the contents.

Pretty box. The cards aren’t great, and the book included is like a blank journal, not a guide.

    No GUIDE BOOK

This set didn’t come with a guid book to explain what each card means. It comes with like 2 pages of info then nothing about the cards. I would not recommend this set.

    Great price considering

Everyone crying over the “quality” and the no guide book really shouldn’t be that upset considering paying ONLY $13 for the set…I mean ya the advertising of a guide book blows but I mean hey I only paid $13 for this so it’s not that hard to google what the cards you’ve pulled mean..google them then fill out the guide book yourselves. I can admit I’m content and satisfied with my purchase of this set. Don’t let the other reviews discourage you from getting this to start

    False Advertising- No Tarot Guide

The box claimed to have a tarot guide included but it was just a blank journal. Also, all of the cards are turquoise and gold. There is no other colors on the deck. I mainly bought it for the tarot guide which didn’t exist.

    Not worth it.

I really wish I would have read the reviews on this. The box is gorgeous, and the cards are unclear. The "guide book" is just a journal. I have other tarot cards, and these are my least favorite.

    I'm satisfied😊

I read the comments before placing my order and honestly if I would have gone off the reviews I would have not made this purchase. The box I'd amazing and makes you feel as though you are opening a box of magic, however the cards are not explained and the illustrations are more of a outline of the actually illustrations. But if you want to grow authentic knowledge of tarot this is the perfect set. I'm glad I made this purchase.

    $13 For A Pretty Box

Really just paid for a pretty box. The cards are cheap material and very cheap design. The “guide” book is blank. I guess you could create your own by looking up the meanings online or from other books but that defeats the purpose in a way.
