Exploding Kittens Horrible Therapist Card Game

This item does warn that it is for mature audience but when my adult family opened it to play, it was absolutely full of the most vulgar things. We tried sorting through the cards to see if we could take out the bad ones and the trash pile ended up larger than the keep pile. My family is a pretty salty bunch, but this game takes it way to far. It is a fun sounding concept but it fully relies on extremely rude s*x humor violence and politics. I wish there was a pg version though bc it is a neat concept.

Not appropriate for adults with moral values. Cards were very embarrassing and we immediately stopped playing. Should be a warning on box.

I bought two of this game- one for my family (all adults at this point) and one for a friend. After seeing people play this on an online video, I knew it was the kind of game we enjoy: fast-paced with irreverent humor.

The drawings in this game are incredibly weird.

Anyone who says it’s inappropriate clearly didn’t read about the game. Its like a cross between Cards Against Humanity and What Do You Meme. Loved it will definitely play it again

I played with friends. The game is off the wall hysterical.Who knew that therapy can be so much fun and less expensive from seeing a therapist. Everyone gives out advice to their friends good and bad.A game is made to those who give bad advice.Horrible Therapist takes Therapy and flips it on its head.I purchased several copies for holiday gifting.House Rule to make the game last longer 3-5 players win 5 Treatment cards.5-8 players win 7 Treatment cardsTherapy is in session.

Took to a thanksgiving dinner and it was a BLAST! The rules are simple and the cards can get very inappropriate so be prepared! It was the best time I had in years!

Entertaining game with very simple rules. Was a crowd pleaser. Definitely an adult game and if you are a therapist, this is not work appropriate lol!

Super raunchy and inappropriate humor. Could maybe work for a bachelorette party?

I bought this game in hopes of playing it for a game night. It looked so promising! I ordered it for pickup so I didn’t notice that the game said explicit until I got home. I figured I could remove the cards I did not like to have the game I wanted….however the pile of cards removed got to be so big I realized this game could not be saved and made me feel uncomfortable having it in my home. They are cartoon pictures of s.. toys, male body parts, throwing up, limbs being taken off and so much more. If you have little children this game is not for you. If you love nasty references and gore then you will love this game. There are parts that made me laugh but ultimately I didn’t want my children to open this game and see the images of a male body part or anything else.

I was was thinking this would be a great new version of apples to apples (which got old). There are so many funny answers that could have gone onto these cards. Instead, there's a lot of: "I said something dirty, here's a cartoon- bah-dum-cheee?!" ones. Listen, I'm for all types of jokes. I think other games are hilarious that are risque, and I have played many games of gradually getting louder with "p****!," This isn't any of those, just flat out not funny options. Wasn't excited to pick up any of these cards.

The game is so funny and a different take on the age old cards against humanity. Real funny and great for all types of friend groups and humor.

I played for the first time with friends yesterday. I didn't know this game before we played, but it was AMAZING we absolutely LOVED IT. It will be a MUST to our game nights in the future!

I purchased this thinking it would be a fun game to play with friends... I was horrified when I opened and read some of the “answer” cards in advance... one card was regarding planning another 9-11. I’m sure I’m not the only one that thinks that is incredibly disrespectful to those who lost loved ones due to those events and the survivors. There is no excuse for that.

I'm with the guy who thinks this is way to salacious and "cringe worthy." I'm no prude, but some of these go way too far and frankly just seem lazy - going for the uncomfortable, cringy laugh instead of truly pithy, thoughtful treatment answers. As a therapist, I can think of DOZENS of really inappropriate and funny responses that would be way better. Like, "Hmmm . . . I see a stay in an institution in your future." or, "Do you think the fact that you're so ugly could be part of your problem?" No need to be a bottom feeder and go for the cheap crude / rude laugh - you could do so much better.

Was missing the deck of answer cards had duplicate of another deck.

My friends and I play this game all the time and we often find ourselves shuffling the treatment cards and running out. Please make an expansion pack of treatment cards!!!!
