Excellent Supplements -- Use in Conjunction with Chlorella
These spirulina tablets are great -- I use them in conjunction with Swanson chlorella tablets, as part of my daily supplement regiment. Spirulina is a photosynthetic cyanobacteria derived from freshwater sources, somewhat similar to algae, but, biologically distinct. There are only two ingredients in this tablet, clearly stated in the "Supplement Facts" box, on the product website -- spirulina and astaxanthin. The quality of this product is obvious and its detoxification benefits are well-documented.

Spirulina with a little astaxanthin, sure, why not?
I like it. It's a nice way to get some spirulina with a little astaxanthin boost. I cannot say for sure that it is having any certain effect on me or not, but I did start to feel like I was getting sick last week and seemed to have fought it off quickly. I feel confident that I am at least getting some additional chlorophyll. :)

I love this mix! Spirulina and Astaxanthin are so good for you! Astaxanthin is what the smaller fish feed on, and bigger fish (like salmon), feed on the smaller fish and the Astaxanthin is what gives salmon it's 'pink' color. I can't always afford this, but when it's on sale stock up!
