Q: Is the top part of the water bottle also double walled insulated?

A: No. You can feel it's very cold compared to the bottom when you fill it with ice water. There's also a lot of condensation around the top part.

DO NOT BUY!
I purchased this one month ago and already the top portion is cracking and flaking off. After the first wash a section came off and now the whole mouth part is flaking off- so basically unusable unless I want to drink paint chips. Very disappointed in the quality for the price paid.

Unexpected features
Bought this bottle a few days ago to replace my old insulated bottle. I have bought many Stanley products before and trusted it's quality. At first I thought this is just a regular insulated bottle without knowing the neck section can be removed. After I filled it up with cold water up to the bottle cap. I was surprise to see water condensation. The neck section is not insulated! And when I tried to uncap it, I accidentally removed the neck section. Although I'm still worry that the uninsulated neck section might reduce the period I can keep my water cold. I kind of appreciate that detachable neck section allows me to put ice into the bottle and also the ease of washing and drying it. And I found that by not filling it beyond the insulated section, I don't have to worry about condensation on the neck.

Issue
There is a constant leakage in the middle cone section and also it had a condensation problem. Wouldn’t recommend this product.

Uninsulated middle section is a MAJOR MISTAKE
I've had this bottle for a year now, and use it less and less because of the uninsulated mid section. It does not keep drinks either hot or cold for very long, and the mid section sweats a huge amount, which means any bag you put this bottle in gets very wet inside. This flaw seems like an effort by Stanley to save a little money in production costs, but that savings by them resulted in a nearly useless product that could have been so great.

this was my first stanley purchase. after reading a lot of mixed reviews i am glad that i did decide to make the purchase. i am amazed how well this bottle hold ice(literally almost 3 days!!), it really surpasses the competitor brand. it also fits in the a cup holder which is also i plus! I purchased in garnet and the deep wineberry color is beautiful!!

Works Great, Looks Like Trash
I bought this to replace using a plastic water bottle for my Advocare Spark. Size wise, it’s perfect. And it keeps it cold. That’s about where the positives end. Less than a month after I got it, the paint started chipping off from all three parts. It looks like trash, especially for the price. Mold grows in the top of the cap and it’s very hard to clean it out of the little grooves. This is the first Stanley product I’ve been disappointed in.

Design flaw
