A: You can rotate the color plastic piece either way and it will close the open part that is for the straw or drink from the open spout. But if they were to drop it while closed there WILL be leakage. :) grabbing this for my baby of 10 months she always wants to drink from Mama’s 40oz I believe this straw is softer so it’s easier for the littles. But if you get a silicone boot it makes the stability a little better. Plus saves it from scratches

missing straw
This is now my second attempt at purchasing a Stanley cup through Target this month. The first never arrived even after stating the package was shipped and out for delivery.I bought this as a replacement as it was 1 of the few items our 6 year old really wanted. I placed an ordered for pick up due to low stock and my work schedule only to receive it without the straw. Now both items are no longer in stock.

Bad quality, slippery, easy to knock over, leaky
Not the same quality standards as most other Stanley’s. If this came from Amazon I’d think it was a fake. First off, the color faded and got faded & splotchy outside after dishwashing the 1st time. Only got worse from there. Second, my 5 year old hates it and says it’s slippery. She is right, it is slippery and makes me realize why most Stanley’s have handles. Finally, it leaks like crazy when knocked (as most do) but this one asks to be knocked over constantly. Idk why, I have other Stanley’s and this one is going to the trash.

Ordered 2 of these. The teal and the green. Super cute and I love the colors. Only problem was that they each were missing a straw. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure they were supposed to come with one. Super cute though, I just had to buy some straws off of Amazon which wasn't the best.
