- Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor has a 13-blade impeller that spins up to 106,000rpm, propelling 11.9 liters of air through the machine per second. This generates 3.6kPa of air pressure, powerful enough to straighten hair as it dries.
- LCD screen features a high-definition color display that shows airflow and temperature settings for easy reference when styling.
- Lock feature allows you to slide the button to lock and unlock the arms of your machine. Use with the arms locked to gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots.
- Auto-pause occurs after three seconds of inactivity. Your machine will automatically pause to save energy. Simply move the machine to restart the airflow.

- STYLING TIPS
- Straightening from wet:
- Start with towel-dried hair and select Wet mode. Select maximum airflow and high temperature.
- Lock arms and rough dry the roots.
- Once roots are dry, unlock arms and select desired airflow and temperature. Straighten and style damp hair in sections.
- Straightening from dry:
- Select Dry mode to touch-up or refresh your style. Select desired airflow and temperature, Boost mode is available if required.

Works great if you're looking to work out your arm
I find it very heavy and hard to work with. I've only used it once since I got it. My daughter did my hair and I did hers and both looked great but it's not very user friendly for us 5'2" petite build women. It must weight at least 6 pounds. I have a ton of hair and it's to my waste. I don't see myself using this often without help as I

Great for already straight hair
I received this as a gift for Christmas. I have 3c hair and it can leave my hair frizzy, so I still need to go over it with a flat iron. It does blow dry my hair very well, however feel it’s a lot of money for something that won’t straighten your hair unless ur hair is already near straight. I feel they could add an optional attachable comb to it to mimic the chase method

Salon straight and shiny hair at home
These do a fantastic job of straightening my hair from either wet or dry. When I'm straightening from wet it halves my time which is a winner in the mornings! So easy to use, not heavy and the condition of my hair is improving. The shine on my hair is like walking out of the salon.

Wonderful, worth every buck!
It's an amazing product, achieved fabulous results on the first use! Wasn't expecting this, but saved me lots of time for great results. I got the pink one. I didnt realise it didnt come with a presentation case. that was the only negative point!

Single style. But. Brilliant Results.
It straightens in a way that doesn't reduce volume for fine and low density hair. It requires very little technique and maneuvering. It's so simple and effective that I use it all the time for my 3b curly hair. As a primary straightening and blowdrier it saves so much styling. Wet mode highest setting 115°C, 2 passes and then cool shot before it's completely dry to cool off while it's still malleable. I add some wave at the ends with an alan truman volumo brush at 130°C sometimes. But I always apply a leave in conditioner and heat protectant while it's wet to be on the safer side because I use my airstrait 3 times a week. I haven't experienced any heat damage or dryness. It can work on the root area also if you take smaller sections. I bought it when it was still quite expensive, and I still don't have any regrets even after the price dropped significantly because my hair has gotten so much better. If you prefer to wear your hair straight because you can brush your hair multiple times a day (oily scalp problem), you would really benefit from this product. It's a single function device but the single thing it does (straightening), it does it extremely well! Even though an airwrap has many other functions, the airstrait does straighten the hair from wet to dry, using minimal heat and sufficient air pressure in a way that the airwrap cannot replicate. For curly hair, oily scalp, multiple hair wash days a week, work out refresh, and low maintenance routine, it's the absolute best device!

Great product
I bought my Dyson almost 6 months ago and I love it. It’s so easy to use, plus super quick it only takes me 20 minutes to completely dry my hair.

When in use fill the bedroom with smoke. So my daughter want use it only my wife will. Very strange other than that my wife says makes her hair softer than usual.

Fabulous!
This is a fabulous piece of kit! I have the Airwrap and the hairdryer but this is the only thing that drys and straightens my unruly hair at the same time I love it.

Not for thin hair
I had high hopes for this, I even watched multiple video reviews and searched for tips on how to get the best results. If you've got the time, yeah sure it does straighten but it made my thin hair somehow look worse. Too time consuming and the end result was no volume. I get a better result from my hairdryer and Bio Ionic One Pass straightener. Disliked the product so much that I gifted it to a friend.

Not what I expected fro the price
I bought this about a month ago and at first everything was fine and after a short time the device started sparking with visible flashes coming from the plates. This was really scary, especially as it was close to my face and it ended up burning my leg the temperature felt unsafe. For such expensive product, this shouldn’t be happening.

Excellent performance and innovative technology!
I bought the Dyson Airstrait a few weeks ago and I am honestly impressed. The design is sleek and premium, and the technology behind it really works. It dries and straightens my hair at the same time without excessive heat, which makes a huge difference for hair health. The performance is excellent — my hair is smooth, shiny and looks professionally styled in much less time. Very easy to use, highly functional, and surprisingly versatile for different hair types. Expensive, but absolutely worth it.

Tricky to use
I bought the Airstrait a few weeks ago but immediately saw that it wasn’t going to work for me. I found it tricky to use and wasn’t as versatile as I would like from my straighteners, eg to be able to wave my hair. I think they would work better on lon hair with someone more adept at styling.
