- Start with clean, wet hair.
- For a smooth look, use the Gentle air attachment in Scalp protect mode to rough dry roots before styling. Section hair and use the Styling concentrator and a round brush to style one section at a time. Once hair is dry, use Flyaway attachment to create a smooth, shiny finish.
- Enhance your natural curl pattern with two modes using the Wave+Curl diffuser. Separate the prongs from the center of the diffuser for Dome mode to create natural waves or use in Diffuse mode for textured curls.

Great hair dryer with wonderful attachments
My wife finds the design nice and compact, but it still delivers great performance with minimal noise. The attachments are a bonus. Wonderful technology that does not burn hair or scalp.

Great Design, hero maker!

Disappointing for the Cost
I had very high expectations for the Dyson Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer (Amber Silk), especially given the premium price tag, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Despite all the advanced technology claims, the dryer did not deliver noticeably better results than a standard hair dryer. My hair still felt dry and frizzy, and the so-called “smart heat control” didn’t make any visible difference. In fact, it often felt inconsistent, making styling frustrating and time-consuming. The attachments are awkward to use and don’t stay as securely in place as expected for such an expensive product. The dryer itself feels bulky, and prolonged use becomes uncomfortable. For a brand that prides itself on ergonomic design, this was surprising. The biggest issue is value for money. For the price of this dryer, I expected salon-quality results and effortless styling, but it simply doesn’t justify the cost. Overall, this product is all hype and branding. I would not recommend it unless you’re paying purely for the Dyson name.

Bad results
I was very excited about the idea of a hot tool that doesn't damage the hair. However it turns out if you keep the temperature to a cooler level to not cause damage you won't get nearly the same results. It's not worth the price. Simply adjust your regular dryer to cooler and you will have the same performance as Dyson for much less money.

very effective
I bought this during the black Friday sale and really love this product. it works well, and the intuitive sensor is a great help. the dryer itself dries is pretty strong and dries my hair quickly. love the attachments - they all work really well, and as described. my one gripe is that when you put the dryer down on any surface (without turning it off) it lags a bit and takes a few extra seconds to go to the low power mode. apparently it is supposed to go into low power quickly for convenience but that has not been my experience. overall, would repurchase

Did not live up to expectations
Bought this for my wife as a Christmas present and she said when she first used it it burned her hair and she had to cut a piece of it off she is really particular with her hair and is familiar with hair equipment and how to use them I was really shocked and disappointed to spend this kind of money and this happened she also stated it's roughly the same time frame as the regular blow dryer that she currently owns we own two Dyson vacuums which are great but this product did not live up to those expectations

Beautiful and performs amazingly for curls
This hairdryer is more than just a beautiful object! I used the dome attachment and got curls like never before.. sent a photo to my hairdresser and she was amazed at the results. I love this hair dryer, should have bought it long ago

Heavier than advertised.
Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my spouse. The price was exceptionally high for a hair dryer, whose features are not exceptional, as compared to other brushless motor high dryers available at much lower prices. The high price appears to be driven by an over engineered power cord and excessive weight from a heavier housing and elaborate storage box.

Best hairdryer yet!!!!
I love my new dyson supersonic hair dryer. It's an improvement on my regular dyson dryer,which I love. I particularly like the auto heat settings that cool the temperament it gets close to your scalp and the shut off when you put the dryer down. It's a win!!!!

I used to love my dyson and use it frequently but recently right after the warranty expired it broke. Even with proper care it still died very fast. For a product this expensive it should last more then 2 years.

Exceptional
The hair dryer is exceptional! It came with all the attachments and a box to store it in. The design is lovely; I got the blue and copper. The noise is low but of course gets louder as the blower is increased. My hair dries very fast with the amazing technology. A little pricey but I do like the dryer.

Disappointed.
Very disappointing. I hard to believe people pay full price for this. It’s an excellent example of taking a simple concept, adding complexity, introducing new problems and then only solving 80% of those problems. It will think it is ‘put down’ half way through being used, takes heat away when you want it most pretending to protect the hair, it’s heavy and the handle is literally a straight pipe - zero ergonomics on the buttons or the grip. The short barrel at the top reduces your control significantly - while putting out more air than most this is not a good thing. Disappointed and I have regret for paying so much for more problems.

Breaks after 2-3 years
As other reviewers have stated, this dryer stops working after 2-3 years and would not be covered by the warranty. Dyson also told me they no longer make the model I have. I am going to try Shark in the future.

No frizz drying
I used to have to use a straightener or some other tool after drying my hair because it was frizzy and just didn't look good. The Dyson dryer has changed that, I can now just blow dry my hair in less time and not have to use the straightener. My hair is softer and probably healing from the exesive heat damage.

My curly hair and the Dyson hair dryer.
I have very curly hair. The Dyson hair dryer work excellent on my hair. I love it. The dry time was at least half if not more then what I'm use to with my other dryer. Changing of attachment is easy. It took me a few minutes to get use to what button did what and to learn to the why I wants to use it for my hair.

Easy for old lady arms
I love my new Dyson Nural hair dryer- it is light weight enough for my older arms and dries my hair so quickly without drying it out. I like to dry and go without a lot of styling. Works great!!
