Bought these to replace my old MX4's as they had seen better days. Worth the upgrade now that the folding option is back. The AnC feels better than ever and they are very comfortable. Long battery life and quick to charge

Great product, very happy and noise cancelling is excellent. Surprised with how intuitive the touch controls are (I was worried this wouldn't be great but pleasantly surprised!).

I love the features and sound of these headphones but there are a few things that I hope they improve with updates. It’s pretty amazing all the automation that can be used with the settings remembering locations and actions and saving your settings for when walking away from him or commuting but the reality is for me I won’t always want the same settings when walking the dog or travelling it depends more on if I’m with someone I want to talk to or not or if I want to just chill. The feature available are great not just sound cancelling and transparency which work very well but also the modes like background music where it sounds like it’s at a distance which is great for having it at a low non distracting volume when you are with others or reading/working for example rather than when you want the full immersive experience when you are focussed on just the music. This is good when you are with others too with transparency so you can have music in the background and still have conversations etc. My gripe is I want full control of all of this without the app so I can swit by modes easier without my phone you can switch transparency and noice cancelling with buttons on the headphones but not listening modes from standard to background and that’s a big shame. Also the auto transparency is pointless really for me as if I want transparency I want it completely I don’t want it to keep changing as what’s the point if you want to hear something but you don’t be use the headphones have temporarily filtered something out? Seems a bit daft. So while all the automation and scen features are impressive you quickly just turn it all off so you can get them to do what you want then to do when you want them to do it and the. You end up having to use the app too much rather than the buttons or touch pad on the headphones. Not a massive deal but something I hope they improve with updates. Great headphones and the call quality in noisy environments is quite incredible and is the main reason I bought these. Very very good unless you are right next to very very loud speakers or something the. It starts to go a bit nuts and people will hear feedback and squeezing but that’s not an everyday thing you really just need to be able to do a call in a cafe or pub or something and that works well you may struggle in a very loud gig but why would you? Great to have for travelling work when you need to do calls at airports train stations or in a coffee shop. Brilliant. I hope they allow mode switching without the app soon for standard and background.

There's a reason the WH1000XM6 models are considered the leading standard. Their ANC and seal around the ear is fantastic, and the battery life is perfect. Connectivity is fast and easy, and the Bluetooth connection is extremely low-latency for sound/video syncing.

Weird whirring noise located in the left ear. Sounds like a high pitch screech/bird chirping — very, very annoying!! Amplified when ANC is turned on, worsening the experience. No clue how to fix this, might have to return to Currys.

Great sound, good bass and clear midrange, very comfortable to wear. Would love improvements in ambient sound side, as it the environment sound feels very artificial, but the ANC is very good.

Having been a long term Bose customer who needed to upgrade their headphones, my natural upgrade would've been the new Quiet Comfort Ultra gen. 2 headphones. But the reviews I read about the Sony WH-1000XM6 made for a compelling brand switch. And I'm really pleased I did. The sound quality is superb, they're easy to use, have a great app that allows for more advanced graphic equaliser adjustments (compared to Bose), and the understated design suites me much better than the blingy look the Bose headphone offer. And of course the price was much keener too, representing considerably better value for money, and the ANC is really very good.

I absolutely love these headphones I have tried other competitors and they were okay but when I went to Nashville next one of the Sony members can I listen to it I knew these are the ones I had to have I actually purchased the xm6 the new ones versus the older ones just because they were a little updated and I'm so happy with my purchase as the music is so loud with base which is what I love and I love also listening to my older music as it sounds so clear and good trust me if you've been puzzling about making this purchase I highly suggest you invest in this as you will not be disappointed

Great sound, quick bluetooth connection to both IOS or Android devices. Works well with Google assistant. Light weight and comfortable.

I’ve been using the Sony M6 for the past week, and it’s been amazing. The sound quality is excellent, the noise cancellation is truly top-notch, and the battery life is outstanding. Overall, it offers great value for money and is absolutely worth it.

I must admit I was massively underwhelmed by these wh100-MX6. My old MX4 are so much better in every aspect. Sound and NC. These are worse in everyday. Noise cancelling to me is not good at all. AirPods Pro 3 are better and my MX4s. They feel cheap and they hurt when wearing a few hours. Again, MX4 I can wear all day. Sony unfortunately you’ve gone backwards imo. The 5 and 6 version are considerably worse than the 4’s, again, in my personal opinion. It feels cheaper made than the previous model and I’m guessing the reviews on YouTube are fake or because you’ve sent them a free copy because they are not as people suggest, again, all reletaive to my experience but I’ve had my Sony MX4s for 2 years and AirPods Pro 3 and these 5+6 versions are just not it.

This is absolutely amazing. The noise cancellation is top-notch. I so love it.
