Not beats, but still good
These are super nice headphones, but they feel a little cheap for $400 headphones. Sound quality isn't quite as good as my Beats, but still top tier. ANC isn't quite as good either, but with the connection issues the Beats have recently brought, reliability is worth it.

These have a faulty hinge issue and will break
Please don’t buy these headphones. I’ve had mine for about a year, and one of the hinges just snapped for no reason. Apparently, weak hinges is a known issue with these and it’s happened to SO many people, Sony will NOT replace your headphones if it happens. I’m looking into target warranty, but I regret buying these given that they only lasted me a year. Don’t buy these and if you can still return yours, definitely do.

Rubbish and third class plastic hinges
I bought it with a very happy heart but I really am very disappointed by the design flaw that results in broken hinge. Despite using it very delicately I still ended up with broken hinge.

Firmware loop/bluetooth lockout
As soon as I these headphones arrived I was advised to download the Sony app which told me I had to update the firmware. I have now been stuck in a faulty firmware loop, with the headphones no longer able to pair over bluetooth. I am getting advice from 3x ai systems to try and unlock the headphones. So I have been unable to use them since I bought them. If I ever mange to get out of this nightmare I'll let you know if these lovely looking headphones actually work well and I'll update my rating!

DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES. They are so flimsy, don’t connect to ANYTHING through Bluetooth. I actually cannot believe this price tag - go for Bose or AirPod Max.

Terrible noose cancellation
I was so excited for these headphones for Christmas because everyone RAVES about how good they are and how the noise cancellation makes them feel like they're in another demension. I've had these for a few days and I can hear literally EVERYTHING. I can hear me scratching, tapping, fingers popping, conversations, EVERYTHING. Even with music playing. I even did the hand covering function to turn to ambient sound and it was barely a difference. The noise cancellation absolutely SUCKS. I don't understand how people could say it was great when I can hear absolutely everything around me. Other than the NC, it has great quality sound, comfort, and battery life. It's just my only complaint is the terrible NC.

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION
Do I need a two pronged jack to use these headphones on the Emirates flight to Australia? My friend said she could not get hers to work using the one prong cord when she flew out last month. Appreciate a response. Sony are impossible to reach either on email, chat or on the phone.

We never received the item. Our delivery arrived with the Target tape cut and clear tape used over it. This item was missing from the box. Target nore Fed-Ex will own up to the mistake. Claims have been denied by both parties.

Headphones suck! Stopped working after barely a year, coincidentally when the warranty expired. Expensive pair that doesn’t even last and has cheap parts. Awful. And the Sony customer support is worse.
