I was searching for a sleek trash can after my Ikea one broke only after a year. Hopefully this one does better. I ordered the white one and it arrived in perfect condition. I was prepared to return it to my local Target if it had arrived damaged. It did have a strong odor that lingered on it for about a week. Maybe air outside if you notice this and are concerned. Being matte is a plus and still easy to wipe down. It also came with a free roll of trash bags. Happy with it.

Good Garbage Can!
Initially I didn’t like the cover because there is no lip to open manually. As I thought about it I think it is more hygienic that way and it forces you to use the pedal always. Also it is a more secure close which deters any odor. Now I like it a lot better than my old one.

Great purchase!
IF this trash can holds up and does not break like the last few (different styles) I’ve purchased, I may say this is the BEST trashcan I’ve ever had. The design is exactly what I’ve been searching for. The fact that the lid stays in place and you pull out the inner can to change out bags is, for me, a phenomenal design! Very very happy with this purchase!

"I have had a trash can that has a step to open and a lid. I was hesitant to buy that style again because my last one was bad, the lid hit the wall behind it and ruined the wall, and the step broke eventually. This trash can’s lid doesn’t hit the wall, and the step is smooth and easy to use, it doesn’t feel like it will break like my last one. It looks good, and I think it’s going to last long."

Love this trash can
I really like this trash can. The pedal that opens the lid is a nice size and is super easy to open. Very well made and I love the removable bin inside it making it easier to remove and insert the bag. I don't have to take the whole garbage can out to get it cleaned out if any of the bags leak and that's another pro for the removable bin. Overall, this trash can is awesome!
