I was looking for a larger compost as in Seattle we are required to compost a lot of our items. I wanted a bin to fit in a particular small space, and this was the best option with being narrow and tall, and has a foot pedal. What would have made it better? A bit shorter in length, and maybe a single flap instead of 2. I wished it was a bit more square for my space. Lastly, please make compost bags that fit your larger bins! I’ve found some elsewhere, but would happily but the perfect size for this can if it was compostable.

Fits perfectly in a small space, extremely pleased with the quality of the product, love the butterfly opening.

Overall, very good trash can in terms of material quality, design & operation. However, I wish there were a mechanism to keep the lid open for an extended period of time, when needed, without having to step on the pedal the entire time

The slimline 18L butterfly bin is much easier to keep clean than its fatter predecessor. However only 4 stars as the opening lid is not suitable for the odorsorb pod as it won’t stick to the stainless steel.

Butterfly feature keeps the dog from getting in it. Easy to clean.

This trash can fits perfectly in the narrow spot in my kitchen and looks great. I love the foot pedal and quiet closing lid. If it holds up for ten years like the warranty says, it is well worth the price.

Bought for our RV to put under the sink. We like how it looks so we decided to leave it out. The slim design doesn't take up much room and the dogs can't get into it. Love the foot pedal soft open. I now have more room under the sink as well.

This is a great trash can. I use it for recycling cat food cans and other recycling stuff. Very good.

Very nice. I purchased this for a friend and he loves it. I have several simplehuman products and I love them. I have never had any problems from any of my products. Each product is exactly at it is described and functions perfectly. These products are a little more costly by other brands but other brands do not last like simplehuman. Good quality and constructed well. Even the paper products are made well and as described. I love simplehuman products and I will always purchase over and over. The only problem I have with your products is that I believe once your customer has responded to your product review, the customer should not be asked to write another review unless there is a direct problem with the product. I needed a trash can to fit in a very small space in my kitchen and this one did the trick. It’s sleek and love how no fingerprints show. Would love to know if the doors can be propped open?
