Description
Store compost scraps easily and efficiently with our odor-minimizing stainless steel compost caddy. It can attach to a magnetic dock that hangs at the side of your rectangular or slim liner rim trash can, or you can detach it for use on your kitchen counter. The soft-seal lid allows food scraps to breathe, keeping odor under control and pests away. The plastic inner bucket is removable so it's easy to dump out scraps or clean. The compost caddy bin's stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible fingerprint-proof coating that is also infused with Agion®, an EPA-registered antimicrobial that inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold, and mildew. A 30-pack of Code Z custom fit compostable liners is included -- the liners fit the caddy perfectly and can be thrown out along with your food scraps since they decompose fully.

This little caddy is my best friend.
I have thoroughly enjoyed having this caddy at my sink. With our new rules for composting, this makes life work better. And the company stands by their products if you have any problem. Highly reccomend. I wish other products worked as well as Super Human products . Oops I mean Simple Human. I love it.

Awkward to Open
Handy bin but not easy to open when you have your hands full of potato peelings etc. My rubbish bin has a quick release catch and the compost caddy would be much improved if it had the same.

Didn’t think it would matter but it’s much nicer and less smelly than reusing a plastic pail. The biodegradable liners also help keep the main bin clean to trash day.

Convenient, attractive, fits on the counter
It’s easy to use, we place a compostable paper product (napkin, paper towel, etc) in the bottom, fill it up, dump it into the bin and start again. Had it for a a few years now and it still looks great (late review).

Perfect for what I wanted
I had been using a compost pot I liked, but it had "issues"- the metal was rusting, the inner plastic container was hard to remove, etc. This solved everything! Hooks onto my trash can and easily comes off to go to my counter for clean-up. The inner plastic container comes out easily, and the biodegradable liners hold up well (old ones from other disintegrated as soon as any moisture hit them. This one is everything I needed and wanted!

Compost Caddy Bag Problem
We are happy with the Compost Caddy; however, the additional bags we ordered and paid for are extremely difficult to unfold and insert into the Caddy without tearing them. I regret ordering them, and understand that other brands can be purchased that are much easier to work with and insert.

I love my new compost caddy but the compost bags are too small to fit over the plastic liner, and rip almost on contact. This combination makes it hard to place scraps in the caddy without the bag falling to the bottom or ripping. Larger bags would solve the problem.

Worth the extra cost
yes, there are cheaper options for compost caddy's but the attachment to hang this on the side of a Simple HUman trashcan is a nice feature. The oder control on these is great and the liner/bucket set up is easy to use.

Great, but difficult to find space for
Would love to put this on the door under my sink, but there’s no way to stick it on the door. It hangs, but the hook is only designed to use on the trash can- so it’s too small for use on kitchen cabinet doors.

Stylish and Useful
We like this stylish and useful piece of kit, especially the docking function that allows it to be attached to the larger double bin. It’s about the right size and shape. One thing it lacks, to my mind, is a carry handle.

Weak hinge
the hinge is very vulnerable to breaking, and is held to ring with cheap plastic that breaks off, this is a replacement, the vulnerable hinge should be made from metal!
