Q: How hard a push does it take to open and close? My mom has bad arthritis and is having a hard time finding an umbrella she can use. If you can't push it with your pinkie she probably won't be able to.

A: I’m afraid it will take a bit more than a pinky. And also after the canopy collapses automatically, it still has to be pulled closed. It could be a bit difficult to handle. You may want to try one out in a store first. Thanks for the question!

A: Jenny, we converted to all PFAS free umbrellas over a year ago. While there may still be some old stock hiding in some stores still out there, everything we make is indeed free of forever chemicals

Immediately Broken
This umbrella broke within 5 minutes of me leaving the Target store. The umbrella frame easily snapped and the material is flimsy. It was raining, so I popped into Target out of convenience. I should have crumpled up $20 and thrown it in the trash. What a waste of my money. Magically the self-checkout kiosk didn’t scan my circle barcode as the screen said, so now I have no record of this purchase to return. I’m so upset and disappointed in the quality of this item.

Sturdy yet compact
This is a fantastic compact umbrella that I keep in my work bag. They stay behind their product with a lifetime guarantee which made me more comfortable than it wouldn’t break. So far the auto open and close works very easily. Once you use the button to bring it to a close you have to pop it into the handle in order to fully secure it. I have a black one in the color has not faded. It’s very lightweight and I appreciate the ease of opening & closing it.

This umbrella is perfect. We don't get alot of rain but it is nice to have an umbrella that is so easy to use. Being able to get it openone handed is great for times when you might be holding several items.

Perfect size

Simple, sturdy, and super cute! I will never go back to a manual umbrella again.
This umbrella is such a massive upgrade from my ‘normal’ golf-style umbrella. Pros: - It folds nicely to fit under my seat in my car, in the glovebox, in my daughter’s backpack. - The auto open is not so powerful it snatches the umbrella out of my hand. - This is my first experience with the auto-close feature, and I will never go back! - I love the loop at the end of the handle to hang it to dry or secure it to my wrist when it’s windy out. - The size is great, enough to cover my and my belongings. - It seems very well built and sturdy. I’ve had many compact umbrellas break because of flimsy framing and I’m so glad that’s not an issue here. - So many designs and colors to choose from! Cons: - My only complaint is that the button is a little difficult for my 8 year old daughter to press. She has to use both hands on the handle and both thumbs on the button. But hey! It won’t open unexpectedly :)

I have the umbrella in the plaid ( Walker). The pattern is classic and it works perfectly. The style is easy to put down into my tote. It is just the best umbrella ever. The plaid is the reason for my purchase. It is very durable and has a stylish look to it whether you are dressed up or dressed casual. Easy to open and close

Nice and sturdy umbrella
Got this umbrella because when it rains, it rains hard in here. In general, this umbrella is very firm and sturdy. When it’s folded, the size is small and easy to carry. I don’t like the string handle because it hurts when I carried this umbrella around the store.

Easy Open & Easy Close
This ShedRain brand automatic opening umbrella works very well. Pushing the open/close button lets it unfurl in just a second and it locks nicely into place. When you're ready to put it away, another push of the same button disengages the umbrella. No more pinched fingers trying to get the clasp to unlock. I really like the quality of materials and construction of this umbrella, it doesn't feel cheap and it should last for a few years if you take care of it.

Sturdy and reliable umbrella!
This umbrella is incredibly well-built and feels really sturdy. The auto open and close function works smoothly, and I’m confident it will last a long time. It feels solid enough that I don't think it'll flip inside out, even in strong winds. Nice umbrella with auto close feature!
Nice sturdy umbrella! Works well and keeps rain off. The wide style is great even when it’s lightly windy. It looks great and is lightweight. The auto open is very convenient when you’re out and about. The auto close is great to close it from the full open position but it takes a lot of pressure to close it down to the fully closed position, not a big deal in general but if you have arthritis or any other pain condition it could be difficult to fully close.
