The build is good quality and well crafted. The battery life on this is excellent, and you can easily vacuum your entire room with battery life to spare. In the video, I only used the low setting, not even using the max level, and the suction power is strong. The storage that it came with is compact and lightweight. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharper image vacuum is super sleek & cute, I have it tucked away in the corner of my room and it matches the aesthetic. It's super simple to set up. Comes with 3 attachments. My favorite way to use it is to attach the stick and the floor roll brush to vacuum up all the hair in my bathroom from me and the dogs. It has just the right amount of suction strength for dog beds, it doesn't suck up the material, just sucks up the hair. I really like that. It has a boost button so you can make the suction strength stronger when you need it. It makes cleaning my bathroom a breeze. I will say it's not the best option for carpet vacuuming, but it is great for a small jobs & tile floors. The emptying canister is very small, but but easy to empty. You will want to make sure you're completely over the trashcan before releasing the canister or everything will just fall out on the floor the way it's angled. The charging base is where you can store the vacuum and the smaller attachments, it has a light to let you know while it's actively charging and it goes off when it's done. Overall it's a good little handheld convertible stick vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that I already own several cordless robot vacuum cleaners, so I am very familiar with what efficient, modern vacuuming should feel like. Because of that, my expectations for the Sharper Image Handheld Lightweight Cordless Swap Clean were fairly reasonable. At first, I was prepared to give this vacuum a three or even four star rating. However, the more I used it after filming my video, the more serious issues started to appear, especially with the battery and cleaning performance. Battery performance was the biggest disappointment. The battery life is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes it holds a charge for only a few minutes, and other times it lasts closer to ten minutes or slightly more. This inconsistency makes it unreliable. There is nothing more frustrating than being midway through cleaning, confident that the vacuum has been fully charged overnight and securely docked, only for it to suddenly die. For a cordless vacuum, dependable battery life is essential, and unfortunately this just did not deliver. Assembly and setup were actually great. Assembly could not have been easier. The pieces simply click into place, and setup is very straightforward. My eleven year old helped put it together in about two minutes. This is easily one of the best aspects of the vacuum and definitely worth noting. Emptying the vacuum is where things start to go downhill again. I am very much on the fence here. The release button for the dust compartment requires an excessive amount of force. It does not open smoothly, which makes emptying feel unnecessarily difficult. On top of that, the bin is not truly easy to empty. You have to shake it aggressively to remove debris, hair, and lint. It is far from self emptying and feels outdated compared to today’s standards. Cleaning and suction performance fell below expectations. This was the worst part for me. On carpet, you have to go over the same area multiple times just to pick up lint and debris. This really highlights how weak the suction is. It simply does not pull particles out of the carpet the way you would expect. As a mom of three, having an effective vacuum matters a lot to me. I want to feel confident that my home environment is truly clean, and this vacuum just did not meet that standard. Additionally, the section below the light collects hair and lint, and there is no easy way to remove it. You have to manually pull it out with your hands or use a brush, which does not feel hygienic or time efficient. In a time when people are used to robot vacuums that clean and self maintain, this feels like a major step backward. The one standout positive was the removable handheld feature. This part was genuinely helpful. I have a small baby, and the handheld vacuum was perfect for getting into tight areas like the crib and small corners where larger vacuums cannot reach. This feature alone was a big win for me and the main reason I wanted to love this vacuum. Final thoughts. I really wanted this vacuum to work for my lifestyle, but it ultimately fell short. The easy assembly and handheld option are great, but the inconsistent battery, weak suction, difficult emptying process, and manual cleaning requirements make it hard for me to recommend. With improvements to suction power, battery reliability, and a more modern self cleaning or self emptying design, this vacuum could be much better. As it stands now, it just does not meet my needs.

And I wish there was a holder, to look more uniform with the other items being held, when it’s not in use. However, we use 2 robo vacs (different brands) and sometimes it just takes too long to get to an area and they miss. I said this may be replacing one. It’s easy. It picked up dog food, so it’s capable. It charged really fast out of the box. With the Sharper Image brand, you expect it to be good. There’s no smell from pick up at this time, so maybe the filtration was lol be good. Only time will tell, but I give this a sold B+.
