Not impressed
It heats well. The issue I have is there is no tank to take outside the unit to fill. You have to take the entire unit outside to fill. There is a flimsy handle that seems like it is going to break or fall off especially when you get the kerosene tank full and try to carry it in. The smell from this kerosene heater is strong (which I read was due to this particular wick and many recommended changing it immediately) I have used this for almost 6 months. Recently I purchased a different model that has a tank that pulls out to take outside to fill make it much easier and lighter and doesn’t have the same strong kerosene smell. I would not recommend purchasing due to the heaviness of carrying just a tank to fill and the awful handle. It will be too heavy for many and these should not be filled inside the home. Now if you just want it for outdoor camping to warm up and heat food… this may be okay for you.

I just received two of these (11/18/23) and they do NOT come with a pre installed wick. I have yet to test due to this.

Makes the Living Room Cozy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sengoku KeroHeat Portable kerosene heater does a nice job of warming up my living room. My living room is fairly large, and the 23,500 BTU output makes the space warm and cozy. I plan to use this heater mainly as a backup heat source, in case the power goes out during a storm this winter, but we'll also use it on the coldest days to support the furnace so it doesn't run as long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is great! It will easily make a small/medium space feel warm and toasty in no time at all. It’s easy to put together and setup with the included instructions. Ignition is easy if you follow instructions. A lot easier than kerosene heaters when I was growing up. Just fill with fuel to the gauge reflects full, and press the igniter button. A full tank lasts around 12 hrs, depending on your beginning temp. I love that it has a gauge so you can check how low it is without having to open the tank. There is a slight smell when first lit or if it burns out, but it’s to be expected with kerosene. Make sure wherever you are using it is well ventilated. Great for garages, power outages etc. Highly recommend.

The backup I was looking for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to get a good backup heat source for the house as well as something I could move between my garage and 10x16 shed. I grew up with kerosene heaters in the house so this looked perfect. Assembly was easy and after following the instructions for the first light, it lit up right away. I ran it for about a half hour on a 50 degree morning just to test it and it put off a substantial amount of clean, quiet heat, so I'm looking forward to using it this Winter. Some things I didn't like were that the guards that go around the base to ensure clearance are a little awkward, and the battery compartment for the ignition is a little flimsy, but otherwise I expect this to be a great heater to have this winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is great! We use it in the back yard when hanging out with friends on a cool evening. It puts out enough warmth to keep the party going! It is also safe to use inside. This makes this heater a pre opera dream come true! We can use it for fun, but can also have it on hand in case we lose power and heat during the cold winter months! Definitely worth having that peace of mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item works well but I can tell that it won't be good long term. It's made of cheaper parts and it just doesn't seem well put together. But besides that, it heated up my pottery studio so that I could continue to throw into the night and that's pretty awesome. It's also pretty big but it gets the job done and I do hope I'm wrong and it lasts for decades to come!

Amazing product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a few weeks ago and it works wonderfully. It's easy to fill with the included pump. The light ignition makes it super easy to light. One take lasts approximately 12 hours. It put out way more heat than you would think. It can completely heat up a good sized area. The shut off switch is easy to use and it doesn't fume much when you shut it off. I would highly recommend this product.

It's a wonderful kit to have when the power goes out, especially in the winter. It is super safe and the guide is easy to understand I have had other heaters but this Sengoku KeroHeat is works much better than the other brands on the market I recommend it

Initially it didn’t start at first, and it’s taken a bit of trail and error but seems to be working well now. We’ve used it a handful of times outside and if you’re close to the heater it keeps you warm. I would use it in smaller spaces.
