poor quality
I bought my house last year and got all the appliances from samsung. It was the builder who installed samsung appliance. It looked beautiful but after one year the handle of microwave is broken, letter of samsung “A” is ripped and corner edge is also broken. I am not sure if samsung company is manufacturing low quality microwave.

Disappointing handle
The microwave itself works fine the handle on mine has cracked twice over a span of a year and a half. I had it replaced once and within 6 months it was cracked again and now out of warranty. It seems like very cheap plastic. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. And all 6 of my household appliances are samsung! Very disappointing

Poor handle Design
Came new with new home 11/2019. Very low microwave use. Perhaps 2 times per month over last 6 years. Today, handle came off with simple attempt to open. Same thing happened to my neighbors handle-closed same date and same model. Cheap design.

No lit up buttons you can't see the buttons!!

Not good for seniors or folks with arthritis
This microwave seems to work fine but the buttons on the control panel require a very heavy touch to operate. This elderly lady has arthritis which makes pushing the buttons on the microwave very difficult. If you have long nails, this could be a problem for you, too.

BUYER BEWARE: Handle breaks within a year!
Unfortunately, my review shows the insanity of my decisions. I have purchased a microwave similar to this - 3 microwaves in 6 years. The first one completely broke (mechanics no longer worked / heating element broken). The second: the door fell off the handle. This one is the icing on the cake - the handle completely broke off within 9 months. It started one month ago, the bottom of the handle broke off. It was completely broken, with the cheaply made plastic pieces broken and unfixable. We taped the handle back to the microwave, and the top of the handle busted as well with the pressure. Unfortunately, Samsung is not great with their customer service as well. If you go online, they recommend you call, however they will not support you unless you provide them access to your phone to share photos (not a text, link etc, but physical access). When you try to chat, they also require a photo, but have no way of sending the photo and give you a run around to request service. High level: BUYER BEWARE! I thought I had purchased a comprehensive warranty, but I do not see it in my receipt. I highly recommend purchasing a warranty for as long as you hope to have the microwave. It is unlikely that this product will last as long as you would like. High level: BUYER BEWARE! You will likely need to invest over an hour to get support for the cheaply made product. The way that they support you makes you feel like you may be charged for the visit as well. I realize that there are many 5 star and 4 star reviews - a higher percentage than 1-3 star reviews. I also realize that i typically do not take the one star reviews to heart, as they tend to be overly critical. I hope that this will help guide you in your purchase. Based on my experience with Samsung, I will NEVER purchase a suite of appliances from this brand again. I also have decided that even if my microwave installation will need to change and I will have a mis-matched kitchen suite, I will NEVER purchase another samsung appliance again. We have enjoyed your electronics (TVs), but I have not had luck with this suite, from the refrigerator fan breaking and freezing our food once every three months, to the stove top overheating and being inconsistent for cooking, to the dishwasher not cleaning the dishes, to the third time NOT the charm with the microwave - never again.

Quit working in just 3 years
Got 3 years out of this microwave and out of nowhere it just stopped working. Was told not to but Samsung appliance and didnt listen. Will be switching everything out for a better brand! Very disappointed! Do better samsung!!!!!!
