Amazing so called renewed V600 scanner! Buy it!
The V600 scanner I received seems absolutely new. No scratches and the scanning surface is perfect! Although it is mildly expensive it is cheaper than the used scanners on the web and I trust Epson based on previous purchases. As a scanner of pictures the images are perfect! Scanning 4 slides takes a bit longer. Scanning negatives with conversion to black and white pictures takes about 12 min for 6 slides. But it is a miracle! You can adjust dpi down to 300 which shortens the time but image is sl grainy. If you need a multipurpose scanner… BUY IT!

Refurbished machine working great so far!
The machine works great. I had a little trouble getting setup but once it connected it was exactly what I needed for scanning art.

Excellent Scanner ICE Technology is a Game Changer
I'm really impressed with the Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner - Certified Renewed. The ICE technology absolutely amazed me — it saved me so much time that I would have otherwise spent editing dust and scratches out of old photos in Photoshop. It works like magic! Although it's a renewed unit, it arrived looking very clean and almost brand new. You wouldn’t even guess it’s not new. For the price, this scanner offers incredible value considering the advanced features it delivers. I highly recommend it to anyone digitizing old photos, slides, or film.

Overall, a good but complicated scanner
I got this primarily for its ability to scan negatives. I have discovered that, unfortunately, some of the negatives I have are very old and larger than the capabilities of the scanner. However, for the negatives that do fit, and for the photos that I am scanning it is fairly good quality. The ICE retouching, however, is terrible. I have tried it a few times and every time it comes out with completely skewed colours. It has lots of good options if I want a quick scan and a lot more options if I want a higher and high resolution scan. Definitely has one of the highest resolutions I’ve seen in a long time and if you have lots of storage, it’s awesome for that!

As good as new
Even though the scanner was not in its original package, it was under fully protection and worked so well. So far my scanner worked perfectly and smoothly. I’m satisfied with my purchase.
