Very soft and sturdy brush, well constructed lightweight design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was very excited to try this product, as i am usually a big fan of real techniques products. they’re usually pretty affordable and work well for the price. unfortunately, this brush is not the same case. it is probably one of the worst makeup tools i have ever used. the bristles are barely held into the base and every time i use it with any liquid products, the hairs constantly fall out. additionally, they are so weak, it just bends and flops all over the place when applying! since it has no rigidity to it, its extremely difficult to control. i really wanted to like this one though!!

The hairs are not very strongly attached to the brush, causing them to come out and kind of get stuck on my base, and I had to pick them off my face using tweezers.

It is okay to use with liquid or cream. This brush is vegan, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested, making it suitable for sensitive skin. The bristles fall in between fluffy and dense,a great brush when you want seamless but controlled placement. This brush has a nice weight to it and is easy to handle. The synthetic bristles are very soft and glide nicely along the face. I used cream bronzer with this brush, and it applied nicely without any harsh lines. It places product exactly where you want it and blends seamlessly. This brush allows you to be soft or dramatic depending on the amount of product you pick up. More than half of the brush picks up product nicely, while the shortest bristles at the back pick up less. My brush did have a slight indent on the side ,unsure if that is a one-off or standard. This Cheek Hugging Contour Brush does a lovely job applying product, and it comes at a nice price point.It is going on my vanity for regular use. I wish it was a little more firm. My plan was to use it for either contour or blush, but I didn’t have the firmness that I needed to really blend. I felt like and it’s kind of like a chunkier angle brush so if I am using it wrong then that could be it too, but I just feel like some of their other brushes have been better quality.
