Ever since I’ve tried this sauce I am never going back! It tastes so fresh even though it’s jarred. It’s not very sweet, more on the savory side which I prefer so it’s perfect.

Absolute Garbage, I would have been better to throw it in the trash….. Not even close to a real Tomatoe Basil sauce. I tried, because we were at a Airbnb and it wasn’t as equipped for cooking. My parents were born in Southern Italy and I’m used to the real thing!

So so sauce
The packaging is neat and tidy. The texture is so so. I couldn’t really tell much of a difference. The ingredients said it was pretty clean when it comes to that, but something made it taste off to me. I’m sure you could use it in a lot of things but I probably won’t.

I am a professional chef with 45 years experience. I don't claim to know more than anybody else but for the record I never liked tomato sauce homemade or jar. Well that's changed after I tested RAOS tomato basil. The sauce has the right balance of spices, salt and natural sweetness. The other tomato sauces I tried before all had THAT taste/flavor if you know what I mean. Sure it's pricier than other tomato sauces but you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I don't have to add any spices to it it's ready to go. I also use it if I make a beef stew, a soup or a chili.

Rao's is the Best
All the red sauces are a 10. Love that there's no sugar added! I like to keep a supply. Be careful ordering a dozen like me, 3 were popped open. They wrapped the jars, but box was heavy. Looked like it was dropped. Will shop in store. I'm tired of popped jars and dented cans.
