A multi-purpose, mid-weight skin protectant ointment that moisturizes and helps restore the skin barrier while protecting dry, chapped, cracked, and irritated skin. This topical skin protectant ointment is formulated with 45% petrolatum, our shielding polymer, and α-bisabolol to treat compromised skin and provide a comfortable, occlusive layer.

Since this is an ointment - it is a thicker ointment product so you might not want to use this as a your full facial moisturizer. We recommend using our Urea Moisturizing Milk as a facial moisturizer. At this time, Prequel does not have an eye cream in our range.

LOVE for my face
My skin drinks this up. Despite the petrolatum is is not heavy or excessively greasy and gives my skin a great glow. I add a little bit to my AM moisturizer and layer this on top of all my serums/creams in the PM. Great stuff and will def. re-purchase!

Hydrating multitasker
Wow! This ointment is super hydrating and a great barrier. I've been using it as my nighttime moisturizer and my skin looks and feels amazing. It's also great to put on chapped winter skin, and has saved my nose during a cold with too many tissues and blowing. Will definitely keep this one stocked in my cabinet.

It's not greasy!!!
Did not want and did not care. And received as a gift with purchase. Had it sitting for a while. Then I got some kind of irritation/reaction on my lips. And decided to try this ointment. Should I say it lives on my nightstand now? I love this product. So versatile. And surprisingly not greasy! I wish it would come out in a travel size container. Or in a lip tube format. So it's easy to put into a purse and use on the go.

Great for mild burns
I lifted some skin along my eyebrows while waxing. It hurt and burned so much. I put this stuff on right away and it’s been feeling so much better. On day two now and still putting it on religiously. I hope it won’t scar.

Clears up dry skin, not eczema skin. Causes clear eczema skin to break out with eczema. I bought too many tubes and have been re-trying it over and over for a few months with 2 different people who have eczema. They consistently break out with eczema and become itchier.

Disappointed
I received this ointment about five weeks ago. I really liked it at first and was using it every night. Then about one week ago it turned liquidy. Now it is no longer an ointment. I haven’t been keeping it near heat or anything like that. I’m disappointed. I love my other Prequel products but won’t be purchasing this one again.

Prequel is killing it!
I use this to slug almost every night and absolutely love it. Yes, it is mostly petrolatum and I can buy a tub of Vaseline for half the price, but here’s where they are different - Vaseline is thick and goopy. It’ll stay on my face for hours without sinking in, transfer on to my pillow and generally just make a mess. Formulation is everything when it comes to products such as these with similar ingredients. This ointment sinks into my skin wayyyy faster than Vaseline. I can go to bed 30-60 min before bed knowing it won’t rub off on everything, and for that I’ll pay the slight increase in price. Bonus points for it being in a tube. A little goes a very long way, so this tube will last me just as long. Every product I own from this brand has been a hit!

I love this! It’s definitely better in the winter months . I use it every night to lightly slug my face. I could definitely use Vaseline for a cheaper price but I love supporting prequel plus you get other amazing ingredients in this that Vaseline doesn’t have. Every morning after using this my face is so smooth and has a beautiful texture! I almost don’t want to do my morning skincare because it looks so good!

Best ointment ever
I don't think I've found a Prequel product I don't like. This ointment is a lifesaver. I think I usually have 4 tubes of it at any given moment to make sure I'm never without it. I love putting it on my lips straight from the tube. Especially being on accutane, it has been a lifesaver along with the Lip Visor. I also like to sometimes cover my face in it before bed if my skin is really dry or needs more than just moisturizer. I also put it on my hands whenever I rip them in the gym or any kind of scrape/cut/blemish anywhere on my body. This stuff is amazing. I also usually hate the feeling of an ointment because it's super thick and doesn't absorb as fast as I'd like but this skin utility ointment is so different and so amazing.

Obsessed 😍 I use this every night on my lips, around my entire mouth and nose, and all over and around my eyes and eyebrows. I apply this last on top of my skin care nightly. I will not let this run out. Definitely keeping it in stock. A little goes a long way, which is great. I’m not stingy with it at all and yet I still have so much product left in the tube after months. Highly recommend.
